Insulin shots are not a bit fun for me, I have a natural aversion to shots and will admit it to anyone. OK, so here's my take on the BD AutoShield - I am not going to say these needles are 'painless' because no needle that you stick in your body is going to be totally unnoticed, just ain't going to be so. But, these BDs, in my opinion, are FAR less noticed when they punch through. The outer shield seems to distract the nerves and the spring loading (like a blood glucose needle) pops so fast that often it does NOT hurt. Indeed often the Insulin fluid is more uncomfortable than the needle puncture. Anyway, for some folks out there these needles are WORTH THE TEST to see if you like them better than a naked needle. Buy a box and 'give them a shot'. You knew that was coming didn't you?

These are the Rolls Royce of pen needles. They have double safeties and visual "Used" marker. I've tried other so-called safety pen needles but nothing that compares to these safeties. A very good investment for people that use pens for insulin delivery.

Absolute life savor for me. Being the new care taker for my mother in law it was detramental for me to be able to use these. I had to self teach myself how to give the injections when my mother in law recently became diabetic. These were what the home care hospital was using and was the only kind I can handle because you don't have the needle exposed. My pharmacy had originally claimed I would be unable to order them so I had only so many that the hospital sent home and needed to order immediately. Thank you for having them available it made our transition here much more accommodating.

Recived package of box of 100 needles. Opened the package and found that the box needles were in was cracked and open. All the needles were at the bottom of the package loose. What is going on here? I paid almost $100 for the needles and to have them arrive all loose at the bottom of the package. Hope the needles are usable because I really need them for my insulin injections.Marian Gramley

Nobody wants diabetes but this made it soooooo much easier to do my daily injections. no pain.

Use for my pens, works great

More than i cared to pay for. Use to be around 60 dollars now had to pay 197.99. More than 3 times what i use to pay.
