The B610 Rafting Top safety boot from BASE PROTECTION is the light-in-weight yet highly cushioned choice for the professional. The metal free design creates a more flexible boot without compromise on safety features. Slim cap reduces the toe cap thickness to 6.5mm and the weight by 35%, without any compromise on safety, to offer the wearer a much better fit. The flex system offers a metal free, puncture resistant midsole. The features a padded collar, which guarantees a comfortable fit around the ankle and avoids tendon inflammation, too. The stylish, high-quality tan leather upper is water-resistant to meet with the requirements of S3 WRU classification. Also features patented air technology, which provides a system of ducts and holes to promote air circulation around the foot. This results in high breathability which keeps the foot dry and comfortable. The smell stop process applied to the fabric lining offers protection against bacteria and the bad odours caused by sweat. The uses the airtech system: a technology which allows the increase of the midsole to improve cushioning. A reduction of the outsole to a thin layer of just a few millimetres is then achieved using a TPU skin rather than traditional, weighty materials. These technologies offer the wearer a true anti–fatigue sole, which means less tiredness and greater comfort whilst still achieving SRA, SRB and SRC slip resistance ratings. This complete design offers the wearer increased flexibility, lighter weight and less pressure on the metatarsal and the benefit is simply greater comfort in daily use

Pretty perfect work boot...
I wanted to wait at least 6 months before reviewing my purchase. It is now 7 months and I have worn these boots 5/6 days a week pretty much ever since. I previously wore DM's which I still love, but they were heavy. These Base Protection boots have exceeded all expectations and have become my favourite boots ever. They are flexible, light and very comfortable. The soles seem extremely hard-wearing, not a lot of wear visible.I only wish they were waterproof, but then they don't claim to be.I have no hesitation in recommending these work boots, I will be buying another pair to keep as a replacement pair.

Great boots
EDIT: 11months in they've finally fallen apart at the toes. Everything else is still good. 11months, worn 50hours a week. Highly recommend, will be buying again.Only a week in, so cant say for wear and tear yet. They're not falling apart so far, so thats a plus i guess ;)Its been pretty bad weather this week, so had a good chance to test them. I upgraded from some terrible, terrible, cheap boots. So, im probably easily impressed ;) but these boots are great. They're fairly light, very grippy, comfortable. Ive worn them in torrential rain, and came home with dry feet. Ive worn them from 6am til 6pm, my feet feel fine.Im such a cheapskate, i begrudge paying £60 for trainers. Yet i feel like my new boots are well worth the money. Will definitely buy another pair.1 small note: I wear a size 11 in most trainers, boots etc. I got these in an 11, but feel like i dont have much room. They're not uncomfortable in the slightest, however i feel had i ordered an 11.5 id be slightly more comfortable.

by far the most comfortable boots I have worn in a long time
Have worn them everyday for a couple of weeks now, by far the most comfortable boots I have worn in a long time, Compared to Timberlands / JCB boots / Dr Martins. They are light like trainers but support your feet and ankles. The sole is very grippy. And they don’t take long to put on.Seriously good boots.

Great boots
These boots are really comfy, look great and after 6 months of wearing them most days they're pretty much still as good as new. They fit the same as my trainers of the same size so i'd say the sizing is correct and I dont have any trouble driving in them, they feel just like wearing normal boots. When these eventually wear out which dosnt seem like any time soon I'm definately buying another pair

... a few months now and they are still very comfortable. Due to having to go through security checkpoints ...
Been wearing these boots for a few months now and they are still very comfortable. Due to having to go through security checkpoints all the time for work, the non-steel toe protection means I don't need to keep removing my boots every time I go through the scanners. The boots are still in a sturdy condition with no real points of wear and are fully intact so they are very well built.
