This soap is terrific! I camp in areas without restroom facilities and I want to shower (a bucket of cold water) every day. This soap is all natural, biodegradable, sudsy and the most gentle soap I have ever used, yet it gets me clean. The soap doesn't burn my eyes and has no taste. I suspect that it would be good to use bathing a baby.I am a part time Park Ranger. If you are an outdoors man (or woman) please protect our environment and use this or a similar biodegradable natural soap. Even at home it is safer for our environment than many other big name soaps.

I first bought Alpen Olive Oil soap while I was traveling through North Carolina off the highway at J&R. I used it while we vacationed and when I got back home, I could not find it in any local stores here in Virginia, so I checked Amazon and found it. I ordered and within a few days, my order was on my doorstep. This soap is so fragrant and creamy...and has such a fresh smell. I wouldn't say it contains a lot of olive oil, but it does moisturize well. Its also made in Canada and I've bought a lot of fine products from Canada. Hope this review was helpful.

I’m not happy that I can’t buy in smaller quantities anymore will find another brand that allows me to do so.

I LOVE this soap and couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy in bulk. I can't always find it in local drugstores. My skin is very sensitive and, so far, this has been the best soap for me.
