Barkworthies Green Tripe Sticks Treat, 7-Ounce (Pack of 3)

I won't lie, these green tripe sticks are probably one of the worst smelling things I've ever encountered. They smell like a cross between a barn stall with goats in it, a cow patty and the insides of that tauntaun that Han Solo stashed Luke into to keep him warm when they were on Hoth. I literally gagged when I opened the bag.However, my dogs love these. They are made from 100% green tripe, which is very healthy for dogs. Way better than rawhide. One of my dogs was recently diagnosed with EPI so this is a great treat for him that contains probiotics and is good for his gut.I suggest wearing a face mask with some lavender essential oil on it when opening the bag and giving it to your dog outside to eat. :)

My dog really loves this stuff. Yes, it really stinks. However, it's pure meat (i.e. tripe) and I think it's good for him - unlike most dog treats which are nothing more than a cereal made to look and smell appealing to dog owners. Modern dog food is basically a boon to vets because it is giving our pets diabetes and obesity and all of the ailments the modern food industry has given humans. This product I think, is an exception. The one thing about it is that it is expensive if bought locally one bag at a time. Purchasing it through Amazon this way saves a lot of money. Also, my dog is small so I cut each piece into several pieces so it goes further. However, be advised that in order to cut this stuff you need to use the clippers you normally use to prune your trees.I've been ordering these - three bags for $27+ - now they are "unavailable" and the only option is from a seller for $118 - WTF???

They smell awful, but they aren't for you to eat. My dog loves these and they're only about 30 cals each if you are concerned about your pets calorie intake. Milk Bones are like 125 cals each. When you have a 60 pound dog that would happily eat anything you gave it all day long, these are a godsend! Now, just be aware, some of them are really thick and some will be thin. It's the nature of the product. Not complaining, just making you aware.

I can only rate flavor on my foster dog's reaction to them.... she knows when she's supposed to get one (she gets one a day, after she's been in her crate that she hates while I'm at work). She jumps as high as the countertop when we come back from her going potty when I get home. She's a Boxer, btw.They smell a little, but not like you would think with them being tripe. They are a great special treat....I wouldn't recommend for small/ medium dogs unless you cut them in half (which is easily done with a sharp pair of scissors).... they are, in my opinion, a bit too large for them at 4-5 inches long and about 1/2 wide. But it's for you to decide what your dog can handle.The value on the 3 pack was great, I was paying about $18 after tax for one package at the local pet store.... and had to go there and get it... so delivery was great.Product came 3 individual bags, shrink wrapped in the box.

I have been buying these for years and at least 8 times via Amazon. We store then before and after opening in the freezer. Most recent order had small beetles in bottom of the bag and 2 bags had enormous pieces that were 1/2 the weight of entire package instead of being cut into the usual treat size pieces. Won’t be buying again.

Both our puppers have cancer and are eating a ketogenic diet. This is one of the few dog treats out there I can buy for them because it's just tripe....nothing added. I've purchased these for the past couple of years.

My St. Charles Cavalier loves these things and apparently they are really good for them. They're great but they really do stink and you'll find out fast that you gotta wash your hands after handling or people might think you got hygiene problems.

A bug in the bag! Had to put it in the trash. Did not open the other bags...yet.
