ECCOMen's Yucatan outdoor offroad hiking sandal

EXCELLENT quality in design, materials, and construction. There are a lot of subtle design elements that make them very comfortable, and they are comfortable. They look great, not cheap at all. Support around the foot is great, snug but not constricted. It's January in Wisconsin, I have not tried these on trails, just around the apartment. HEAL LIFT: These have a pretty high heel lift, more than any shoes I have, maybe close to an inch, not sure. I suppose to cushion the heel for hours on the trail.

These sandals fit perfectly and comfortably right out of the box. I'd just sent back a comparably priced pair from another company because they felt hard as rocks and couldn't be tightened on the heel, so I wasn't expecting too much with these ECCOs. I was wrong. They feel almost like custom made sandals. Except for a very very slight rub on the top of my left foot, which I'm sure will loosen with a couple hours of use, these are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned (and trust me, that's a long, long, long time). I'm a big fan of sandal wearing and I believe I've got some keepers here. (Also, I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size, and they are spot on.)

Nachdem meine Frau seit Jahren mit Begeisterung ECCO Sandalen trägt, habe ich mich nun auch für ein Paar entschieden. Und ich muss meiner Frau Recht geben: sie sind wirklich ausgesprochen schön und gleichzeitig robust gearbeitet, verfügen über eine haltbare Sohle und ein für mich passendes Fußbett. Über die drei Riemen läßt sich der Halt individuell einstellen.Und was die Haltbarkeit angeht, habe ich keine Bedenken: die ECCO meiner Frau haben in 8 Jahren viele Wanderungen über Stock und Stein überstanden. So sind die Sandalen über längere Zeit gerechnet nicht nur günstiger, sondern auch nachhaltiger als manches 'Schnäppchen'. Da schreibe ich auch gerne eine gute Rezension.

Sandals too small. Trying to return them but apparently they have to go to US and UPS will not accept without 3 signed customs declaration firms. I was not told about this by the seller and having difficulty dealing with it. Hopeless cuaton service. Do not buy from them!
