I messaged Greg because I ordered the blue bag yet when I click on the link - it showed a brown one - MY ERROR - they ran out of the blue AFTER I purchased the last one at that time. Greg said there will be others later they just sell so rapidly. Well, let me tell you, I am moving from Florida to Pennsylvania and had purchase a Samsonite vinyl bag that is huge and basically is only that - it will do fine for my clothes. THIS BAG is totally amazing. It has a metal zipper which is very sturdy. And well stitched . The hardware is all heavy duty metal. It is a big bag and exactly as pictured on Amazon. I would say it is not as glossy, shiny as pictured - it is more of a rich deeper blue. Still a deep royal blue. There is a padded pocket inside where I put my iPad and small laptop. There's another pocket which I put my cell phone on the inside. And 2 open pockets inside. The cloth lining is well stitched and good quality. On the outside is one zippered pocket and one open pocket. There are 6 steel rounded "feet" which are well attached. All of the hardware is thick steel and well attached. I am so thankful that I purchased this bag. I paid $129 and I got it 2 days after placing my order!! Wow!! Great. The packaging was amazing. The bag was folded carefully (has a solid bottom) & was placed in a huge nice burlap bag. Then that was in a sealed bubble Amazon bag. That was then in a heavy duty cardboard shipping box. I am so very very happy with my purchase. I am going to be moved from a nursing home in Miami, FL to a nursing home in PA and did not want to risk damaging or losing anything pertaining to my electronics - I can fly safely now. This is a carry on bag. The super strong shoulder strap is padded made of the same leather. Buffalo leather. Thanks!!UPDATE MARCH 2023 WOW~!! This bag has held up for 2 years under massive wear & tear - but it is not worn nor torn in any way.... one advice I'd give find out how to maintain the leather so baby diaper rash or elderly barrier cream does not get stuck on it or find a cleaner to wipe it off... hahaha... what can I say living in a nursing home bed with the bag sitting on bottom of my bed it takes a beating but keeps on being my beautiful sturdy bag.... the ONLY negative is on hook had a side peice of the hook come off it was lost or I could probably put it back together... but I just hook the one side to another spot and it works perfectly !! That was my error not the company's either I'm sure... I'm hoping their other bag the messenger bag will come in blue soon so I can get it too.... don't want any from other companies.... this one is tried and true for me.... Always wanted a nice leather duffle bag for short trips, but refused to pay $400. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this bag is as nice as any I’ve seen for 3X the price. Well made, thick leather, nice looking hardware, etc. A few reviews mention some loose stitching, but that’s what the rivets are for!. Mine was perfect all around, and hand-made goods will always have some variations/imperfections. This attached photo is exactly how the “tan” color looks. Very rich caramel color….gives it a vintage, 70s look…exactly what I wanted. The shoe is a size 13 for scale, but it’s bigger than it appears. My wife and I can easily pack for a long weekend with this. The leather was a bit stiff and it ships flat, so I applied some conditioner. This brand in the photo was recommended by a leather shop for $15. Two coats of this and the bag is nice and soft and a uniform color. For $115, this is a steal.

I never write a review until I test a product. This bag is as sturdy as it is attractive. This item shipped flat but I was able to get it into the shape I needed to pack it. I am very fond of leather and I bought it because it was made with the right leather for the job. I do not like my travel gear to be something I have to treat with kid gloves, that just adds too much stress to my life. I found the bag to be roomy and it has pockets in the right places to keep organized. I do not have a small laptop so I use that compartment for my other electronic stuff (cords, chargers, fire tv sticks etc). It would also be a great pocket for Bras and undies. I am looking forward to using the bag again and not only would I recommend it I would give it as a gift.

The bag was wrapped and packed in layers and layers of different protective materials. The suspense to get through the packing material made it feel like opening a Christmas gift. Very nice letter from family who crafted the bag advising about bag features and appropriate care for leather. The bag is the most gorgeous shade of blue and it smells fragrantly of leather. Bag is larger than I expected inside (YAY!) and will hold everything I use to travel on weekends. Inside pockets and zipper compartments are nicely sized. The removable across the chest strap is wide and comfortable with adjustable padded piece. The lobster claw clasps make it easy to take the long strap off and to put it on again. I will only have to carry one bag for any domestic trips that I make. This is a bag that will last me the rest of my life . . . almost a sort of keepsake to pass down to my kids. Thank you for crafting such a thing of beauty.

07.22.2022A year later; this is an update, by the picture here the stitching has given.. although the rivet still holds. This is not entirely bad, but I thought I'd post it. The usage has not been excessive so I will consider this to be normal.Wow! Impressed at the quality and the build of this bag! It is just the right size, weekender, carryon, or a day bag. Love the aged, rustic leather, the stitching and the reinforce on the stress points. Roomy enough with a nice shoulder strap. Outstanding value.

This bag is so well made and has held up through several trips in the five years I've had it. It's showing no wear at all. I could see it lasting for 20+ years easy. This bag is like a good friend.Really well constructed and I get complements all the time. Every man should have this duffel or one as well-made.
