Budget low security lock
The lock is robust and finished in a weather resistant black powder coat paint and comes in a sealed blister pack. The lock is around 35% cheaper than local DIY stores representing good value for money. Installation is easy and the lock can be installed in just a few minutes with basic tools. The screws are poor quality so it maybe an idea to replace them. The lock is the old fashioned rim lock design from the 1940s and very low security but ideal for gates and sheds that don’t store any expensive items.

Robust, well finished product. Note that the knobs are plastic (perfectly understandable for the price) but still of good quality.

careful measuring measuring needed
The lock is fine and works well with the two keys provided. However two cover plates for door know sent only one required, two cover plates for key entry sent only one required and two wood screws sent to secure the door knob bar whereas should have been two small fitting bolts. Whoever packs the items has never used this type of lock. But item apart from that is fine.
