Pleasantly surprised, works great
I purchased this because I was looking for an affordable way to listen to audio inputs from both my laptop and digital piano at the same time through one set of earphones.I was pleasantly surprised to find no distortion from either source and (To my admittedly non-audiophile ears) no particularly noticeable drop in sound quality. However, there is a noticeable drop in volume from each source compared to having earphones plugged directly into each device. Not the end of the world, as I just turn the volume up (Maybe by another third on each device), but something to note for anyone considering a purchase.Overall though, I'm very happy with it. Solidly constructed and easy to use (Just plug and play). Happy to recommend.

Absolutely great!
I was a bit dubious of a splitter with this many outlets but Belkin is an established company & I didn't think they'd push some rubbish out to make a few quid so I thought what the hell. What came surprised me. The splitter itself was plastic but felt robust & quality. There we no rattles or anything loose. Each socket was gold coloured (plated I assume). The cable coming out of the almost Apple White splitter is pure Belkin green & feels robust (unlike certain fruit flavoured chargers) There was an extension 3.3-3.5 which again I assme could be used to extend the distance if needed. As for sound quality I bought this as a cheap work around for a pair of Roket 5 active monitor speakers. I use an XLR lead into each speaker into a 3.5mm stereo jack. From there I use the Belkin splitter & the Belkin into the headphone socket of my 2015 Macbook pro. The reason I use the Belkin is that other people can plug headphones in & there is no discernible loss of quality. It my use which it pretty extreme it works a treat so I'd lay good money that you wont be disappointed in your purchase, what ever your use is.

A Splitter that works for input sources and well as output to headphones, Brilliant!
I wanted this to connect up 4 sources to a single ipod speaker with AUX connector. My windows Laptop, Macbook Pro, Fire TV Box and another Android tv box without having to disconnect and reconnect for whatever source I wanted to play on Monitors that dont have any speakers. This splitter is brillaint it allows you to do that. From the description it says its a splitter for headphones only which would suggest this splitter would only work for outputs only. I can confirm that it does work for inputs as well. I have 4 Sources plugged in and the fixed cable on the splitter going to my ipod speaker.

Good gadget
It has a distinct loss of volume when using this Headphone Splitter, if you are into hifi music it won't be your cup of tea. If you use all the port it will play in mono. Try to check whether it's suitable for what you want to use it. I think for most of the users it will be grand.

Works perfectly with five devices sharing one speaker
Bought to connect five separate inputs to one speaker, this splitter is perfect for the task. Robust in construction, the connections are strong and I've noticed no loss of sound quality. For me it's an excellent, low-cost fit and forget solution. Highly recommended.
