Ultra Bright 40 LED Illuminated Desktop Magnifier Lamp Light - 3 + 12 Diopter - 1.75 and 4 X Magnification - White (FCM-60LEDA)

This thing rocks! I bought this to do my nails. I am getting older, so I can't see close up as well and I cannot paint my nails without making a mess. The light helps and the magnification helps to see in fine detail. Very helpful for cuticle removal.I purchased a smaller light up magnification glass, but I couldn't maneuver it well and still use it.This one is nice because you can put the arm and/or glass in many different positions and it stays put.

I really like the lamp, but it has 3 issues: (a) the screw holding the arm is not tight enough, so the arm keeps falling down; (b) the base is not heavy enough, so the lamp tends to tip when the light is at the lowest point; and (c) the head cannot be adjusted to be perfectly horizontal.The light is very bright and the magnification is very good (wish the 4X spot was larger!), and it's a convenient size. I was able to tighten the hex-screw to take care of the first issue (though I kinda think that may be a recurring solution), and when the arm stays up a little higher, balance is not a problem. The head is quite adjustable; it just can't be adjusted to be perfectly horizontal.

I bought this for my 94 year old mother in law who is making bell ornaments for each grandchild this next year;s Christmas. Her eye site is failing her but this has helped her immensely to achieve her goal. She uses the light more than the magnifier but she is so happy to be able to see what she is doing. It is small enough she can leave on the table or move if she likes, and the way the arm reaches out is unobtrusive. and the led lights are so bright but don't put off heat so she can do what she wants as long as she want's without getting hot She loves it.

I purchased a magnifier desk lamp in December of 2017 from R.P. Electronics. It worked beautifully for the few times that I used it over the year but did not illuminate when turned on in mid' December 2018. I contacted the company by email and was very impressed with the expedient response. They advised that my lamp was still under warranty and shipped me a replacement within a few days. I am delighted to have this helpful tool in my home office/crafts room.

While the light itself is fine, the adjustment arm and top does not stay put. It just falls over to the same useless position. There is no way that I can see to tighten the arm or the top. Very frustrating and I've only had it for a week.

Great lighted magnifier. My wife has one on her vanity and I bought another one that I recently used to repair a couple of iPhones. The circle of bright LED lights eliminates shadows when looking at objects through the magnifier and the 4" lens results a large field of view. This is a great magnifier desk light for any kind of tiny precision hand work.Seems to be well built and includes a small allen wrench stored in the base to tighten the lower pivot hinge when necessary.

good light, BUT THE SWITCH FAILED in about 7 months after barely using it! would love to hear from seller

I bought the light in 2017. I used it yesterday and today it doesn't work. No wires have shorted, the light bulb can't be replaced and the plug and cord are fine. I have only used it to make an occasional pair of earrings. There is no way this light should be broken. Very bummed!
