These are called fisherman hats. They are not as long or big like a regular hat. They are to basically fit the top part of the head snug. With that being said, I bought this hat for my son who has Autism and hate for hats to cover his ears. He will pull them from over his ears. This hat is perfect for him. It stretches to his head, sit right above his ears and is warm. Mommie likes it too cause I also at times do not want my ears covered. I think the bad reviews are from people who wasn't paying attention to the description and thought they were getting a regular size hat.

So many people complain about these being too small, that’s your fault. These are SHORT beanies. These are not made to go down past your ears. I like to wear mine right above my ears and these are perfect for that. I’m a full grown man and they fit me perfectly. I’m happy with my purchase.

The hats are very small as if they were children’s hats

When you buy a four pack, they are only $4.25 each...People complain they come vacuum packed, wrinkly and smell funny. Those are all true. Is it a reason to send them back? Absolutely not. I hand washed them in hot soapy water, squeezed the water out, hung them to dry and finished them off with the hair dryer. They are no longer wrinkly nor do they smell funny. I wear a size 7-1/2 hat (large), these fit perfect. If I unfold them, they will cover my ears...but I wear them as they are meant to be worn, cuffed and above the ears. They are a fisherman's style cap/beanie. What they ARE NOT, is a big, floppy, thick, fashionably silly winter beanie. They get 4 stars because they aren't perfect, but for only $4 the quality/value is great.

Hat style is nice but it's for a little kids head not for men or teenagers way too small.

Soon as a I received my pack of 4, I opened it up, tried one on & love it! Not bulky at all but slim fitting & very stylish for my slim face.

Great price for 4 toques. Took away a star because the pack we ordered should have had an olive green hat in it but they gave us a navy blue instead. However was still a good deal and shipping was fast and hats seem good quality.

They're nice and a nice mix of colours. Only downside is if you have a normal sized head, they're a bit on the small side (which is fine if you're going for the trawler man look but not so good if you want warm ears!) I bought these for my son who takes after me so they didn't fit as he hoped. Fortunately my husband has a pin head so he's now happily wearing them!
