Commercial Electric 6 Inch Brush Nickel Shower Trim (T14)

Sooooo much better than the plastic variety sold by the same company, professional look and no bleeding of light. The only drawback is the white coating they put on the glass which dramatically reduces the light output. This can be remedied with some sand paper. Including a photo so you can see the difference between a sanded area of the glass and the original coating.

This trim/glass works, fits, easy to install, etc...however the glass that comes with it is painted on the backside for some reason? If you install this in your shower you might as well take a shower with a single candle in the room!! I went through the process of removing the paint from the lens (not easy). A lot of 60 grit sandpaper. Now that the paint is gone the lens is clear and you have a decent amount of light in your shower. Pain in the butt though.

Shower trim is required to include the foam gasket. This trim did not include the gasket. Do not understand how they can indicate shower rated without the foam gasket.

No inside plastic so it should last was longer then the ones I got at Home Depot, they fell apart when I went to put in a new bulb. Like the plastic was brittle and yellow just crumbled. These will not.

I ordered this to replace an old, white trim with a disintegrating gasket. Works well, looks good -- no complaints.

Fit perfectly in my shower. Provides great light. Easy to install.
