These paints are really good for beginners and for practicing. Yes, you can create beautiful painting with them as well, but they are not professional like Winsor Newton and Holbein. But that may not matter to you. I bought them just to test them out against Arteza gouache, and guess what? They are very much the same in consistency and texture, and application. But, for the price Arteza is usually a bit cheaper because you get more paints. Again, these are fun for playing with and even creating a masterpiece but you must know the experience with using these paints and Arteza don't compare with the experience one can get with professional gouache.

Beautiful creamy paints. Beautiful colors. Hate the product packaging..... cheap plastic tubes, makes it feel like a cheap brand....would prefer a nice metal tube.

I'm not a gauche artist, but needed them to paint in conjunction with watercolor and I'm very happy with them!

Easy to mix, good consistency. Good range of colours. A joy to use.

I found these gouache paints to be exactly what I expected - nice selection of colours, easily portable for taking places when I want to be able to do a little painting. The box is a little flimsy though; you’ll want to put them into a different container if you are taking them places often.
