Smooth and well made.
Never seen these before purchasing, certainly not in the flesh. I was worried they were for a road bike, but they mesh beautifully with my Suntour crank and Shimano mechs on my MTB. Deore quality, Altus price, love them!

Love my new Shimano Sora front and back gear shifters
These gear shifters are top notch quality. They slide through the gears like a hot knife through butter. Absolutely over the moon with the upgrade. Easy to fit even for a novice like me.

Clarisよりちゃんと良い
Clarisコンポから9速化のため交換しました。ST-RS200からの交換で差分としては、右シフト(リア変速)は9速化しただけで他に特筆するべきことはありません。左シフト(フロント変速)はロートリム(インナートリム)が増えました。ドロップ用のシフターではアウター・インナーの他にチェーン鳴り対策のトリム位置がそれぞれに用意されていますが、Clarisではロー側のトリムがなく3段でしたが、本品SORAのシフターではロー側にもトリムがあり4段です。調整をちゃんとしないと使えませんし、あまり必要性を感じていませんが、説明書に書いてある機能が全て使えるというのはメリットと言って良いと思います。他、インナー・アウターのケーブルも良いものが付いているので、全体としてシフト操作が軽くなったように感じます(交換前品の経年劣化もあるとおもいますが)フロント変速は特に、Clarisのものと色以外に違いが無さそうにみえましたが、細部で少しコストがかけてあるのがわかり好印象でした。
