This is a really good idea that hasn't quite worked out as planned. The concept is perfectly good, it just requires a little more thought. The headphones themselves are well made and produce sound quality that I have no complaints with. The cloth cable is long enough and the headphones have really helped me get to sleep in spite of tinnitus. The negatives are design flaws. The headphones don't stay in position over my ears. The slightest movement twists my head inside the band. The band slips over my eyes to become a thin sleep mask; this is in fact the position that allows the headphones to stay on the ears most reliably. This also means I can't use the SleepPhones for anything other than falling asleep. Changing the size is unlikely to correct these problems as a headband is designed to go round the head above and behind the ears. It is in fact the ears that generally hold a headband in place. If the headband was designed to do this, with cloth covers for the ears containing the headphones, then they would stay in place better.Having said all this, the SleepPhones are better than in ear headphones because they don't hurt and I can lie on my side again. The annoying niggles of using them don't actually stop me gaining the benefit from them. I just wish that upgrades would address these issues. I don't want wireless; I loathe wireless systems and the things would still move. I have yet to find a better alternative to these and I'm not about to faff around trying to jury rig an alternative. These will do until something better comes along.

These are working well for me. I asked in advance whether the headband is adjustable - it is not - and the reason I haven't given this 5 stars is that it would have been very simple to make this adjustable with a bit of Velcro. I am wearing these for sleep, which is what they are designed for, but they do shift around somewhat as it is a bit loose for me. Equally, anything too tight would give one a headache! When I have a few spare minutes, I think I'll cut through the front of the headband (taking care to avoid the wires at the back, of course) and customize these with my own Velcro which will enable me to tighten these a bit. I see a few people are using these for running. The headband would certainly not stand up to that for me, given that it is a bit slack.

I was sceptical about purchasing when some people said they were great and some said they hurt. I've just opened the packaging, put on some music and lay down on my side so my head was pressing on the earphone part - NO problems whatsoever. They are brilliant, comfortable and no pain at all. I've yet to find out if they block snoring, but that wasn't my reason for purchasing - mine was to be able to hear music lying with my head on the side with earphones. VERY HAPPY.

I initially loved the product but within a few weeks the sound stopped working unless I held the cable up with one hand and pinched where the cable meets the jack...which is not very conducive to sleep! I've messaged Amazon several times and I haven't received a response from them. I even emailed Sleepphones directly as another reviewer suggested but since I bought it from Amazon they can't help. I'm pretty fuming with the Amazon customer service as it could've been resolved months ago.

i love this product, it is the second one I have purchased and i must admit i find the softer cable much better, the other one i have has a harder cable and it has become faulty and a bit tempremental at the jack end and sometines doesnt work but this one is much more pliable. the headband fits very comfortably on my head and the sound quality is ideal for my relaxation tapes that i listen to in bed, not sure how it would sound with heavy pop music but then again thats not what its designed for. It is so comfortable that i usually fall asleep with it in place and have np problems with this. Great, thank you, just wish it was a bit cheaper but not to worry.
