Works nicely!
This works great, for those of us that don’t have a pin out on our motherboard for led control. It has a nice bright green light, to let you know it’s powered on. It’s running multiple lights, without any issues.

Works and great choice for a budget controller
Works and great choice for a budget controller. Work well and was cheap to buy. If your motherboard doesn't have a three pin 5v header this is a cheap way to control your fans.

Buggy but mostly works.
Switching between motherboard sync and remote control is glitchy at best. Instructions say to hold the button for 6 seconds, but in reality it could be anywhere from 4 to 12 just depending on how many consecutive times the controller counts the signal from the remote. When in remote mode, controller will not power more than 16 LEDs in a row. If you daisy chain your devices, this means the lighting stops after the 16th LED. If you don't daisy chain your lights, but your LED strip has more than 16 LEDs, it stops at the 16th LED. But when you switch the motherboard sync mode, even if you're not connected to a motherboard, it will light the complete strip, regardless of LED count, and do the default rainbow pattern. Switch back to remote mode and the lights stay lit, but only in whatever stage of the rainbow pattern those lights beyond the 16th were in when you switched back. They don't respond to any remote colors, while up to the 16th LED will.I bought this to try to simplify a workstation build that made use of aRGB fans, but being a server-based board does not utilize an aRGB header. I figured the remote function with only 12 colors would be fine and wouldn't have such small limitations, but didn't make it very far before hitting them. Will be ripping it out and going back to a dedicated fan controller and dedicated aRGB controller, from a different brand.

Fixed my ARGB issues
I have the lian li strimer plus cables with the controller, and that controller needs to connect to the MB and provides a connection for secondary controllers, and my older one was causing flicker issues on the lian li cables, this one fixed it for me.
