I really can’t get the lid to work right. I even watched YouTube video on how to do the lid and make it seal right. Not sure it’s right at all. It won’t snap on even with using a rubber mallet. Doesn’t fit tightly around rim. Im using it though.

Good buckets for bulk food storage.

I did not do a review right away because I was waiting on my product that I purchased to go in the buckets. It arrived and I un-bagged the buckets and proceeded to wash them. Both buckets were in good shape. Beware- if you do not have a rubber mallet to put the ring on the bucket that the lid screws on to - you will need one. I put dry peas in one and quinoa in another. I gave it a four star because I did not know that I needed a rubber mallet to put the ring on the bucket. I still think it is a good buy.

The bucket is sturdiness & durability Gramma lid is easy to use when you want open & close not like some other lid , highly recommend

Works as intended. Store food or supplies that may need access more than others. Right now I use it for mylar bags that contain flour, oatmeal, sugar, etc. Locks in tight and no worry about rodents.

These were recommended to me by a food storage expert. They look like a standard bucket, but the screw-on lid makes the difference. They hold a great amount of product and so far they are working as described. I’m glad that I now have the basics in food storage.

Yes these buckets are heavy duty. The lids fit perfectly, a little hard to put on the snap-on part, but that makes for a good seal. The screw lid mated to the service with a tight seal. Yes, I did buy more of them.
