I’ve been very happy with these grabbers. I use them around the house as well as to pick up trash/litter found on the street. The silicone grips are very dexterous, making it easy to pick up small items like coins and cigarette butts without any fuss. They also work well for grabbing glass jars and bottles from overhead shelves.I really appreciate the construction of these over many other cheaper grabbers on Amazon. I can see these lasting four years even with heavy use, and if/when something does go wrong with them they seem eminently repairable.The locking function is handy as well, though after hundreds of activations of the grabber, the locking mechanism will cause some friction (even when unlocked). It’s not enough to interfere with use, but if you use one a lot then switch to the other, you’ll notice the newer one has a smoother action on it. Pretty small nit overall.

I have bought several of these over the years and they work well. Won't hold much weight, but are fine for picking up trash on our walks cord usually breaks after about 8 months or so. Not sure how that could be improved

I use grabbers to pickup garbage around the neighborhood and have found most of them to not last long.The design of this unit seems to be much better as there are fewer wear points.The weight is good and it seems well balanced.The suction cups make it easy to grab stuff and hold on to it.If I were able to improve it I'd replace the both the bolts that hold the suction cups and the cups themselves with something more flat as they get hung up inside the bag I'm using to hold the garbage.Other than that, this is the first positive review I've given an amazon grabber.

Can pinch your skin by the grip when the metal

I’ve had a number of grabbers over the years, but this one is way better than the others. I love the suction cup ends that let you pick up little things. Because it folds, it fits in a suitcase. The little strap means it can hang up. Having two in a pack lets me have one upstairs and one downstairs.

I have been using Arg-<ate products for many years. Only once did I avail myself of their lifetime warranty.. Thay make a good product.Chester A. Sussman
