Aurora Arts 60mm Rotary Cutter Blades 5-Pack - Fits Fiskars and Olfa

You know the idiom, "cuts through like a hot knife cutting through butter?" This is exactly what came to mind when I changed my rotary blade with one of these new ones and started using it. I had definitely gone too long with my old blade and paid the price with aggravation (having to go back over or use scissors to snip areas that didn't cut through). With these being so affordable, I can make sure that doesn't happen again and change them regularly. These are SUPER sharp. I barely hit a fingernail after I had cut through fabric and was moving the fabric to position another piece which caused a nick in my nail. Be careful!

I was immediately impressed with the sharpness of the blade and thought I had found the solution to the problem I had with blades going bad quickly. However the next time I used it I had the same issue that I had with Olfa blades. There is a spot that isn't cutting and I have to cut over the threads left. Maybe it is my cutter itself, so I will purchase a new cutter and see if that helps. If that is the case, I would definitely purchase these blades over others. They glide smoothly and the price is so good.

I sew daily. I use my 60mm rotary cutter exclusively for cutting out fusible interfacing of varying thickness. It is quick and easy with these sharp blades.

Not worth it for a lot of cutting. These blades don't last compared to fiskars official blades. Went dull after maybe 20 uses and skip areas while rolling. Plus they started rusting so that's neat. Spend the money to buy official blades if you need precise work.

So far so good. Time will tell but right now, they are very sharp blades.
