Insect Mesh 1.2 Meter Wide Flame & Water Resistant for Flies, Mosquitoes, Moths & Insects (4 meter)

I've used this mesh before and since using it I havent had any big spiders in my room. I have a massive phobia of spiders and hate any creepy crawlies that summer brings 🤮. This is an absolute lifesaver and I made a DIY mesh window frame which is honestly the system thing ever. I have a newborn baby and one, I didnt want her to overheat in summer as new builds get ridiculously hot!!! My room can reach up to 29 degrees at night which is awful but I dont want to open my windows because of spiders and bugs, so this helps me get some much needed fresh air and keep the room cool, aswell as keeping any bugs away from my bed and my babys cot! So happy!

In a summer rental without any insect mesh on the windows.So we ordered some basic adjustable tension shower curtain rods for each bedroom window, and this mesh. We made sure the mesh was wide enough and goes at least 10cm or more below the bottom of each window when folded over.We folded the mesh over the rods, so there is now a double layer on each window. It’s not elegant, but is very effective and an affordable temporary solution that won’t make us lose our security deposit.

It was fairly easy to cut (difficult to cut in straight lines, but i am always a bit lazy, and tried to do it standing up) as the scissors glided straight through it. I even managed to stitch it in a loop to insert a length of magnetic tape for fixing it to a corresponding strip of magnetic tape, surrounding the window. I'm not sure why it's asking about adhesion, i don't believe it's sticky (maybe with velcro, but i used magnets)

I found this mesh to be slightly larger grid size compared to some of the other ones I have using. It does mean if this is used in an area where you have small flies then they "might" pass through. I had to return unfortunately as I couldn't take the risk of moving all the furniture to apply install this and then find out it is not effective.

I bought this to use at the bottom of plant pots to stop soil escaping and it is ideal for that purpose. Cuts easily with scissors and it looks like it would perform admirably as a fly screen also.

Easy to use and does the job.This is my second purchase of this item.
