TLDR; great for big heads, thick hair. Doesn’t pull your hair and has amazing stretch!This is great for thick hair! I have super damaged, bleached hair and my hair health is compromised when I go swimming. However, this cap protects my hair and doesn’t pull at my roots. I notice it doesn’t pull out my hair like the other caps. You can really tell the quality in the material. It’s not loose or flimsy but strong and stretchy. I have a pretty big head too! And this cap is the reason my hair is doing so well even when I swim everyday. It also comes with ear plugs! I don’t use the plugs but they are a nice addition.The cap has been used a lot and I do not see any ripping or thinning. I love this cap so much. I even suggested it to my mom and she loves using it. She has a highly sensitive scalp and this does not pull her hair either! So worth it!

The cap is easy to get on, once you get excess hair into a clip or band. Fits very snugly, even over the ears. Keeps hair dry other than the bottom of the hairline in back. Ear covers are nice and feel comfortable as well. I gave 4 stars for durability as Ive only used it once and cant really attest to that. As far as stretch, it does stretch to fit my (big) head, but you have to be very careful as it “sticks” to the hair and can pull a bit. All in all I’m happy with my purchase.

Cap works great for the long and thick hair! Perfect for swimming laps, kept my hair relatively dry, and fit the head well. The accessories that came with it though weren’t really useful or needed as there are brands and companies who just do it better. But if you’re looking for a good full setup this actually would be a pretty good place to start!

I like the cap a lot, as I do swimming on daily basis. Is is better than other brands in the following manner:1. The material and design of the cap makes wearing the cap a smooth process, not like other brands that will make me wonder there should be a larger size for me...2. It covers my ear and hair thoroughly, the water won't slip into my ears any more. It is leaking proof without a ear plug. I love it for this feature already.3.All of my hair can fit into the cap perfectly. Although I do not have super long hair, other brands' cap would not cover all of it.

I am a lap swimmer and i have long and thick hair . Using swim cap is a must .For all these years , i ‘ve been using lots of other brands “ Big brand names” , but never last that long and the most important thing is it can’t cover my long hair completely .This Pala Sport Swim Cap that I’m giving the review right now is a treat for my hair and actually is my second one . I bought to save in case I can’t find it on Amazon to buy . The first one my son ordered for me in black color last year cuz he has Prime , and still in great shape , in use at least 3 times a week year round .Like it so much so I just bought another one to save , it’s purple, real cute .It has thick silicone, can cover your ears and high elasticity as describedTrust me , great swim cap for long hair ladies

I wanted to like this swim cap. The silicone material stretches and it is easy to put on and take off. I purchased this cap to keep my hair dry to protect my professional color treated hair. It would be ok if just the edges got wet. However, I wore it 4 days in a row and ended up with totally wet hair. Will try it at least 1 more swim and if I my hair gets wet again, I’ll return it.

So I bought several different caps & had the same issues with all of them. Once I was working out in the water it would start to inch up causing me to need to repeatedly adjust the cap & my headphones, which was rather annoying. This one actually stays in place. The thickness is better than most but I can’t really comment on how well it keeps your hair dry since I never immerse my head in the water due to ear infection issues. I have spoken with several folks who are on swim teams & the general consensus is, none of these caps will keep your hair dry. They’re mainly intended to cut down on drag when swimming in competitions, not to keep your hair dry. For those who are worried about the effects of chlorine on your hair, I recommend wetting your hair first so it has sucked up non chlorinated water, maybe spritz a little leave in conditioner on, then put a cap on. It’s much more likely to protect your hair from chlorine damage than just trying to find a cap that keeps your hair dry & using it on a dry head since your probably still going to have some leakage from even the best cap

This cap is a MUST-HAVE for anyone who has long hair and wants to keep it dry while swimming. I could kick myself for not having found this cap earlier! It covers the ears entirely, preventimg water from getting in, has room for long hair and fits very conformably around the head, which was an added bonus because all my previous caps (which I have tossed in the garbage) were so tight that left me with headaches after my swims. I highly recommend it!
