This was a Christmas gift for my 4 year old granddaughter who is a real Moana fan and she absolutely loved it. The toy has stood up to the rough and tumble of play with a little girl not known for her gentleness so it is obviously well made. I would recommend it to any young child who is a fan of Moana.

I like the size and material except the tail part. Tail feathers are made with paper. 2 are felt-like paper and other 5 are just paper to be exact. My daughter loves it but I’m sure the feathers will get torn apart pretty soon.

The chicken it’s self is cute but The tail feathers are really disappointing. Material used is barely better than kids construction paper. Do NOT recommend

First off, this thing is BIG. I didn't take any stars off for that, because it clearly states how large it is in the title (18 in) - I just didn't think about how big 18 inches is before I bought it! I had intended for it to be a toy for my 2 yo twins to snuggle in their cribs, but this feels like it takes up half the crib so I got them the baby Moana dolls instead. We kept this because it is still very cute, and they love Hei Hei. I did take off 1 star because it isn't as soft as I expected. MOST of the doll is "super soft microfiber", but the tail and top feathers are made of a very stiff sort of felt material. Both are quite rough and scratchy. They arrived really wrinkled and folded up, too, and still haven't recovered even after being out of the packaging for over a week. Disappointed with that part. But I give it credit for looking a lot like the Hei Hei from the movie.

Hei Hei is a beloved character from one of our families favorite movies Our 1 year old is held captive by the fun songs and dancing from the movie so we easily and quickly decided to decorate her room in the Moana theme. This plush is real to the movie with the right amount of flair and size to keep it fun and huggable. It's not soft per say because it does use multiple materials to get Hei Hei's character just right. The comb is a firm thick felt as well as the tail feathers. They too are made from a thinner felt so not exactly soft. The body is firmly stuffed and the head is semi floppy but again perfect representation from the movie. Is it a great night night lovey/stuffy?? Prob not but it is definitely worth having in the room for the cute factor.
