At the beginning I found the product very useful with good suction on windscreen but after 3 months of usage, the phone holder plate broke at the base. The plate is now useless as the ball screw attachment mechanism is broken… i almost never unscrew or remove the phone holder since I purchase it last June… not reliable product and broke while on Normal use.. very disappointed

It's a nice holder, good looking. But the pinchers are NOT deep enough to hold a thicker style case. Bummer. 🤷

I originally bought this 3 in 1 cell phone car holder but did not have a good experience with it and I left a review with only 2 stars. By the next day, I had gotten a message from Linda in customer service at Torras saying that she was concerned by my disappointment in their product and was wanting to make things right. She gave me several options of other devices they had that would better suit my needs in a car mount to replace the original order. The one pictured is what I went with and could not be happier with it. Once I decided on that model, it was shipped to me within 4 days. It has a "bracket" or "hook" that is adjustable on the back that latches to the back of the air vent blade and locks it on tight, (which is genius idea), and has two feet that come off the lower sides to make a solid secure mount. You could hang a full water bottle on this thing and it wont budge! I like that it also has some space between the vent and back of mount allowing air to still pass through without being blocked like the other clip on types. Linda was so helpful and honestly concerned that a customer was not 100% satisfied and did whatever it took to make things right. I wish all companies had customer service like she provided. If your looking for a solid, reliable cell phone mount for your car, I highly recommend trying the Torras products. The fact that their customer service is so top notch, you really cant go wrong, and if your not happy with it, they will do whatever it takes to make it right! Thank you Linda for all you did! I will buy from then again!

I wanted a cell phone holder for my car especially when using a GPS app for directions. This holder is the perfect solution for me. It’s super easy to install and to adjust to fit the space in my car. Happily, the directions for installation were quite good because I’m not exactly gifted with putting products together and installing them! Also, I was thrilled to find out that this holder fits my iPhone 6 perfectly even though the product description only listed that it fit iPhones 7 to 11 or 12. Plus, it’s easy to use. The release button is located at the top behind the holder which is easy to reach. To release the phone, you simply hold that button until the clamps are fully open. Then you remove the phone. To secure the phone in the holder, you just squeeze the clamps together around the phone. Done! I also found that I could adjust my phone as I was driving by rotating it sideways or forward in the holder if I wanted to change the angle. Bottom line? I can see my phone perfectly now while driving. I absolutely recommend this cell phone holder to anyone looking for a similar solution!

I love the Torras cell phone holders. I am not a fan of writing prolific reviews. Uually these things are cheaply made knockoffs; but the Torras group has actually listened to customers, made changes and became the better manufacturer for your products Quality holder made well wherever they are located!! This one I just got, but the other 2 I have had for over a year. They are superb. Gave one as a Christmas gift. Keep up good work Torras! Will continue to be a customer!!!!

[UPDATE after 3 months]: Torras Customer Care reached out to me willing to send a replacement, upgraded version of the suction cup. I said sure why not give it a try. Got it in the mail in 2-3 days and installed it. So far I like the design of the new cup, and it looks sturdier. As for whether the new included tape can withstand the heat and bump roads, only time will tell. Nevertheless, for the time being, it is a 5* for customer care.[Previous 3* Review]It is an okay product but for $26 I was expecting good mounting tape. I like the fact that it includes two mounting mechanism: through air vent, or on the dashboard, and the design is versatile enough to make switching between the two quite effortlessly. However, on bumpy roads I definitely needs to mount on the dashboard, and the included tape simply does not work. My phone fell even faster than when it was mounted to the air vent.In the end, I had to shelf out a few more bucks to buy the heavy duty Gorilla double sided mounting tape, and mount it onto the dashboard. Noted that it might be hard to remove later, but I absolutely need the phone to stay still. The last thing I want is my phone flying around and hitting the emergency light button - which unfortunately did happen to me when using the original mounting tape.
