Absolutely brilliant mic and a solid bargain!
I Podcast as my job and bought this as an occasional mic if I have guests and as a backup to my main mic, a Shure SM7b, in case of breakages or emergencies where I couldn't use that. Side by side, this mic is just about 99% everything I get from my Shure, it's got all the clarity and warmth and just sounds great and for the price, phenomenal. I use this plugged into a Focusrite 18i20 and have the gain up to about 75% which is a fair amount, but puts it easily in reach of just about any interface without the need for any extra gain from things like cloudlifters etc. and even at that high gain, the mic remains completely silent and noise free. It's a nicely made, all metal construction, though it is actually quite light weight. That's a little disconcerting, but handy given the fact it will be held on any cheap boom arm or mic stand you might want to pick up for it.Honestly, for the price, I think this mic is unbelievably good. If my Shure ever does break, I'll replace it with one of these, hands down, no problem. Since starting my podcast, I've used a variety of mics in all different price ranges, including a Rode NT-1, Rode Procaster, Shure sm-58, Shure SM7b and now this. The SM7b is obviously the pride in my vocal mic box, but this comes a very, very close second. Considering the price difference, it's just not worth it, buy this and be happy saving a ton of money, it's a cracking little mic.

Decent sounding Mic and a great looker
Got to say I was surprised at how light this mic is but the sound is excellent. I got the red version (great that they do so many colours) which looks really nice, as I say a bit lighter than I was expecting but a good performer, nice tone (favours the low ends) and handles plosives pretty well (depending on your mic technique), like all dynamics, requires a bit of gain but boosting in your DAW produces excellent results with no audible hiss. Will probably use a Fethead (or budget version of Fethead that I have) just to boost it a little. All in all a very good mic at an excellent price, by the way the mic is a 'end address' mic (if that matters to you). great value and a very good sound to it. Recommended.

Too much low end & Internal pop filter not good enough
Ita a good bang for the buck, a little too much low end, and also keep in mind that there is no shock mount, so any slight taps or touches on it or the table is very noticeable and loud through the mic.The internal pop insulation is fair, but not gppd enough to stop pops from about 3 inches from the mic. BUY A SEPARATE POP FILTER. I recommend 100%.Overall its a nice build.

Very Good Mic Bargain - Popshield Feature Really Not As Advertised
I really like this microphone. It's clear and is good at picking on your voice and not picking up background noise (I have mostly condenser mics so wanted something like this). It sounds good and clear for speaking and singing (I would recomend this for singers, I know it's aimed at podcasting but perfectly capable of getting very good professional sounding singing results). I would say it's great if you have an untreated room. It's crazy you can get a mic this good for this price. The only negatives I have is that it is advertised as having an internal popshield and it isn't great, If this wasn't advertised as a feature I would have given this a five star review (most mics need a pop filter). It really isn't good at stopping plosives on it's own, epecially not for its intended audience. A foam windscreen for this would be a great accessory for Sontronics to make. I do recommend using a pop filter with this mic. It also really picks up bumps to your mic stand so be careful! Having said the negatives these are only very small points and I think it's excellent microphone overall. After using it more I have given it an extra star because it really is great.BARGAIN!

soft sound podcast mic = perfect for voice over tutorials
I use this mic to record tutorials and host classes. It is nicely soft with a very good noise profile. The mic needs a shock mount because it is not internally well insulated.Love this mic - also it is very light kinda feel cheap but that is rather nice to the mic arms !

Sehr gutes Produkt
