Cooking Mama 2-Pack - Nintendo Wii

It's worth the two games, but we really only bought the package for the first one. The first game looks a lot more HD than its original, so it looks cleaner.

Nice way to get the two cooking mama titles on one disc. Well worth the price.Recommended for fans of the series.

I thought this game was going to be a challenging game with superior graphics as most Nintendo Wii games are, but I was wrong. It is not always easy to navigate, and the graphics are quite disappointing-very frustrating. I do not understand how this game made it to production and distribution. Do to the thick accent of the narrator, understanding some words is difficult. Perhaps it should have been dubbed for the American audience since it is distributed here also. I concur with other reviewers regarding how ineffectively the controller and console communicate. It is a hit or miss-sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It is mediocre and will not impress gamers expecting a fuss free, straightforward game that is not elementary in design, you most likely will not enjoy this game. If the aforementioned specs are not important to you, most likely will.

Always fun cooking with Mama, but on Wii you better be ready to lose on everything the first one or two times. With both games the input is super touchy (I don't have motion plus) and even if you know the direction you're supposed to be chopping/slicing/whatever, you really can't tell how hard to do things. Sometimes a light push will ruin the dish. Sometimes you better tear your rotator cuff whirling the remote.It still does teach you how to cook everything from scratch though and is kinda fun...
