Kero is a fantastic addition to my collection. It's a two-player game that's easy to learn and fast to play but offers a depth of strategy.Things I liked:Unique Mechanics: The Tankers as timers add a thrilling element to the game. You're constantly balancing the risk of re-rolling dice against running out of fuel, which keeps every turn exciting.High Production Value: The attention to detail in the components is impressive. Everything from the Tankers to the game pieces feels premium and adds to the overall experience.Quick Gameplay: The game moves quickly, with no dull moments. It's perfect for when you want a shorter game that still feels satisfying.Strategic Depth: Deciding when to refuel, when to rush cards, and when to control territories offers meaningful choices every turn.Things you may not like:Luck Factor: There's a significant element of luck due to the dice rolls. While this adds to the excitement, it might not appeal to everyone.Combat Mechanic: The combat is simplified to a numbers game, which might disappoint those expecting a more thematic approach.

This is a diamond in the rough. It is a strange little game with a lot of differing elements (Area control, dice rolling, real time dice rolling) that all come together in a wonderful post-apocalyptic theme.Its easy to learn and has a good amount of replayability. My wife and I both liked it a lot. While not our absolute favorite game (those are Carcassone, Splendor, Sagrada, Codenames Duet and 7 wonders Duel) this one is worthy to be on anyones' top 10 or top 20 Two-player boardgame lists.Conclusion: 8/10

I have been buying, collecting and playing board games for years and most purchases are through Amazon. My item of Kero arrived in very quick time which is what you would expect from Amazon but the game arrived in non-english which is very disappointing. Should I really expect a game to arrive through Amazon UK to be in German, Japanese, Greek and Italian???? It's strange that a Spanish (Widely used language), French and English rule book is missing but given the box was sealed I can only assume the game was not intended for my region. I don't see why as an avid games collector and gamer that I should have to download the American/English version to be play this game and now I have to go through the effort of returning this item to a Hermes delivery centre. This is a major reason that I need to support my local games retailer more than the evil corporation of Amazon! I have noticed with other games on my watch list that people have been duped by the wrong language versions! This is WRONG and just in case I sound like a pro Brexit UK resident, I am 100% for staying in the EU, I just don't want to spend my birthday Amazon vouchers on non English based games. This is the first time I have been caught out so next time whenever I buy anything from Amazon I must do my due-diligence! Lesson Learned!
