There's a lot of these out there and they all seem to have mixed results, but I can confirm that this one worked for me. Followed a good youtube video and the kids switch now works as it once did before they broke it.Note you will need a special tri-wing screwdriver to get 4 screws off the back plate. These come in most electronics repair kits, but not in most screwdriver kits. I've read that some people can get it off with a jewelers phillips head but I couldn't and you will risk stripping the heads.Take your time, be sure all the ribbons are reconnected and you should have a working switch again.

This product worked great to replace my defective card reader.Best advice when installing is to constantly check to make sure the system recognized the card reader, aux port, touch screen, and micro sd card reader before putting it back together fully.I had the touch screen ribbon not fully in properly and had to reduce the ribbon connection until it worked. The same happened with the micro SD, but saved me time by constantly checking after connecting an input into the motherboard.Good luck to those who will attempt it for their first time!

My son was able to replace the card reader and it works now. Hardest part was removing existing screws since it’s an older switch. He’s finally able to play his games and saved me from buying a new switch for now.

Over all it worked, was afraid of damaged due to veary light packaging but no problem so far.

I purchased a cheaper version from another seller that didn’t fit right and when I was able to connect it all to the board, it still didn’t work. This version fit right in and works great. Thank you for a great product to get our switch working again!

It's a bit tricky to replace, but if you watch some YouTube videos on it it's not that bad but you do need a special screwdriver. Still, it went right in and works perfect.

My son forced a game in backwards and broke his card reader. So I purchased this and installed it by myself in about 20 minutes while watching a YouTube video easy and works perfectly!

Revise que fuera compatible tal y como lo indica el producto, tenia el numero adecuado pero cuando lo instale funciono parcialmente y no arreglo la lectora de juegos, lo demas si funcionaba pero mi intencion era poder leer juegos fisicos. Estoy en tramite de devolucion (ya lo regrese) y ver si se me regresa el dinero (lo use 5 min solo para comprobar si servia y no fue el caso). Todo depende de la version de tu switch y el firmware que tengas instalado, por lo que nada asegura que funcione mas que probarlo.

Easy to instal in switch but it only worked for a month and then it stopped working
