I've been an avid coffee and espresso drinker since I was 2 (yes, somewhat irresponsible parents) so I like to think I'm a decent judge at coffee. For much of my childhood I used sugar and milk, until I realized that isn't necessarily the best way to enjoy coffee. I like my coffee dark and very strong, whether a drip brew or espresso.This stuff is dark, strong, and SMOOTH AF. It leaves an incredible aftertaste. It has a rich set of flavors that I seriously cannot get enough of, whether drip brewed or pulled with my espresso machine. Occasionally I sweeten my coffee, but I have zero desire to do that with this stuff - I think that would mess it up. Even from a drip coffee maker I get zero bitterness or sourness from it.I recommend using warmed or steamed whole milk with this (with all coffee, in my defense) rather than drinking it straight, because the fats and natural sugars in the milk help better spread this across the taste palette.Overall, 11/10. Better than Starbucks espresso by a mile, better than anything preground I've come across at local stores. Whatever blend and roasting process they've got going with this has got to become a trade secret, because it's incredible.

This coffee tastes (and smells) even better than I had hoped. Deep, rich, and almost sweet, with no burnt fragrance or aftertaste for a dark roast. I ground some of the beans as soon as I opened the package, and the smell was fantastic.I was concerned that the higher caffeine content would add a bitter taste, and it does not. The taste is excellent. However, this coffee is not for the faint of heart or caffeine sensitive people, and just use your brain about how much you have and when.I'm excited about making some batches of cold brew with this. Should be really smooth and strong. I also make coffee ice cream with full fat coconut milk, and I think I'm gonna like that a lot, too.Even though I shop on Amazon sometimes, I like supporting small American companies when possible, and this coffee is at a great price, so this is a winner all the way around.This review was not influenced by anyone in any way. I bought this coffee on my own at full price, and I plan on buying more of this in the future.

The extra find grind means that it brews a little slowing in my inexpensive espresso maker. That said, every time I make an cappuccino my reaction is "Oh, yeah!"

I love the packaging of this coffee. It keeps it fresh when delivered and even opening and resealing after. The taste is great with a smooth texture , and no bitter or bad after taste . The name " Knee Buckling " is the perfect name . It has a punch that keeps me awake and alert, but not jittery . It grinds up easily with my coffee grinder . Great price . I sent some of this coffee home with my son . He loves it . I just ordered another bag and had it sent to him .

I recently bought a Breville Barista Express (great machine) and tried these beans in it. I had to use a coarser grind (number 3) on the machine to get a proper pull, but once things were dialed in, I started making some of the best tasting espresso that I've ever had.

It’s a decent price for ground espresso but for myself, it was not very bold in flavor and there’s a lack of crema. Also, the ground was too fine for my machine (I have a delongi).

This is so good and strong with no bitterness! I love it. Although it is dense and I sometimes struggle making espresso with it
