These work really well at keeping all the bugs and small particles from going into the filter. We have cottonwood trees near us and the entire top of the pool gets covered in the white fuzz, these catch all of that from getting into the filter. The material is a tight enough weave to catch the small particles, but still lets the water through. I love these and will continue to use them for my pool. Highly recommend this product to save your pool filter.

Just what I needed.

These skimmer socks are GREAT! Not only do they fit perfect in/around my ski.mer basket & catch all the top water debre, but they also catch any algae that's moving around the water! Best part is just remove when dirty, throw in the washer and dry. Then they are ready to use again. I promise, I'm always trying to find things that help me move on to the next project & these definitely do that!! I absolutely recommend anyone with a pool, to get some of these! You'll definitely thank me for it later!

What a difference using these in our skimmer makes! I am still tossing after each use because it collects so much debris, including minute debris!We had tossed most of our noodles because particles from the noodle would show up in the skimmer. That worried us about the particles getting into the filter. When I saw the particles in the filter sock, I felt better & bought more noodles.We still get particles because we have children in the pool but I am ok with that now.

Skimmer socks work great. I have a handle on the side of basket which I thought would be a problem. I cut a small hole right below the top band and slid down handle. It then fits nice on skimmer basket. I’m so glad I gave them a try and didn’t return.

But in pool skimmer, it rotted away to nothing in a couple of months. I can see a variety of uses. Paint strainer, shop vac, produce bag At grocery store. Lots of uses but not so much for pool.

These work so good for the pool! Wish they were biodegradable.. just hate throwing more trash into the bin.But for the ease and help with the mess in the pool - I’ll take it! Husband loves these so he doesn’t have to skim the pool for hours anymore to get rid of the debris from our trees

We have cottonwood bad here in the spring. These are a life saver. Change them out daily and it is amazing how much it catches instead of going into my sand filter. You can rinse these out and reuse. Less backwashing necessary for the sand filter and I’m sure it will prolong the sand life. I will never go without these.
