MidWest Homes for Pets Quiet Time Micro Terry Taupe Bed, Brown, 36 Inches

This bed has held up well for my German Shepard power chewer puppy. He drags it around, chews on it, and shakes it like a toy and the seams have held up. I purchased another bed with more cushioning and in less than an hour the cover was history. The bed itself didn't last long after that, the stuffing was soon all over the floor. Not with this bed. I highly recommend this bed if you own a power chewer.

Fits the dog crate perfectly. I have this 42" and a 54" and I just ordered a 48" and another 54". (Yes, lots of big dogs.) I would have given this item a 5-rating if it was a bit thicker. But it could be that the reason my sometimes-neurotic dog doesn't eat it is because it isn't thick. The pad provides a nice cushion on the floor of the crate. For light soil it wipes clean and for stains it washes up nicely in the machine. I also dry it in the machine. The photo is of the 54". The different sizes look and perform the same.

What did you people put in this dog bed? Dog nip? My puppy loves it and will not come out of his crate until he drags it out with him. Then he lays on it licking it. He outgrew it already, because that's what puppies do nonstop, grow. But he still carries it around like Linus and his blanket from The Peanuts. I need to buy a larger one, but I'm afraid it will blow his puppy mind trying to figure out how to drag both of them around every where he goes.

This is one of the better crate pads I've purchased. Most of them are really flimsy and require something additional under them to really provide cushioning, especially if you have a pet who's been run over and had extensive reconstructive surgery (she's doing great though!). It's easy to throw in the washer to clean and maintains its shape after multiple washings (I purchased a smaller size so a larger one might not fit in a regular machine). I don't put it in the dryer though: it's made out of quick-drying materials so I just clip it to a hanger and let it air dry. Wish it came in more colors but I'm satisfied.

Golden Retriever approved! My little one won't get out of his crate now! I ordered the Large MidWest iCrate (42L x 28W x 30H) and the MidWest Deluxe Micro Terry Bed (40L x 27W). The bed fits perfectly and the crate it is sturdy. Both were well-made for a good price. I hope my Golden doesn't outgrow this, but if he did, I'll by this combo in the next size up.
