The Fallen (Hades Castle Trilogy Book 1)

Unexpectedly good
I downloaded a dhample of this book, thinking it would be more of a YA story. It took a bit to grasp the POV at first, but around 15% or less you are in a place of 'one more chapter'. And I have been there until the end. Finished it in 2 days.It is well written, And had violence and a bit f steaming scenes, which wasn't expecting and enjoyed. I do recommended as a YA story more for adults than teens

A great first of series...
I really enjoyed this book. It did take me a little while to get into it, but that was more me adjusting to her way of writing as this is a first for me. She set the story up really well, a great build up leading to the crescendo and making the reader want to read more to know how the story will play out.The characters are well written and completely believable - even the fallen angels - you can really feel Lila's anguish as she looks for her sister, her confusion and then her wrath. You can also feel Samael's uncertainty where Zhara is comcerned. The twist in the book was unexpected which is something I loved as not many people can carry this off with success and I am now a certified CN Crawford reader and look forward to the next installment. I'm the meantime I shall have to check out some of their other books.Thank you for you great imagination, a great read and I look forward to more of your books.

Good read
This book very quickly draws you into the dark and gritty world of Albia. The story is good but the only thing that confused me was the mention of photos. I know electricity was mentioned but the society didn't appear technologically advanced enough for cameras.

Holy smokes that was TENSE
Oh my goodness I’ve barely stopped shakingThis book was hot and steamy and tense and Riveting and so bloody good.Lila is a thief but when she tries to escape trouble from the rough boys she finds herself in even more trouble since she’s caught the attention of the count. A cold man with tremendous power plus there’s the rumours of angels but those aren’t real...right?This story had me gripped from start to finish and my heart barely stopped pounding the whole timeI need to know moreOnto book 2 it is then

Enjoying this trilogy
If you have enjoyed any of C N Crawford’s other trilogy series then I don’t think you will be disappointed in this one. This first book was a good introduction to the characters and enough to want me to find out where the story would go in the second and third (currently reading the third). I’m hooked and invested in the characters story now, which is the sign of a good series.

A new genre for me
This was a really exciting read. It balanced fantasy, heat, and an almost semblance of familiarity. I loved the main characters, I read thisBook in a matter of hours. I can't wait for the next one.

Amazinf
This was my first CN Crawford book and boy am I happy it was recommended to me. I couldn't tell where each writer started the story flowed seamlessly. I normally can predict where a story is going but this one has me stumped. Starting 2nd book right now. Will have to wait for 3rd book. Hoping trilogy continues brilliantly as I may have found another author to binge read.
