I LOVE this pot!!! I chose this pot because I was looking for a large tri-clad pot but couldn't bear the idea of paying so much for a brand-name item. This pot is sturdy, heavy (in a good way), and works beautifully for sauteeing, searing, and making soups. I cook a batch of something for lunch in this pot once a week and it is great. I often choose this pot over the dutch oven because it's much lighter, but has a great thick bottom that cooks evenly and gets very hot when needed. The handles are pretty ergonomic although beware, they get very hot (as does the lid). If anything sticks (rarely, as long as you cook with enough oil or deglaze the pot before anything starts to burn), it comes up easily with some baking soda. This pot is great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, high quality pot! Forget those hyped up brand name ones.Update: I wrote my review when I purchased the pot in 2015, and in 2023 I am still loving it! It's just as good as when I bought it and is an absolute workhorse. I put it in the dishwasher with no problem. I bought a clear glass lid for it (at TJ max or Ollie's, can't remember).

Finding a relatively short stock/soup pan is somewhat difficult. Most are made several inches taller. Those are great for taller people. Thanks for offering one that fits me. It does everything I wanted. It works well on my induction range. It's curved side makes it easy to clean and easy to scoop from with a large spoon. It's well made at a more than reasonable price. I'm delighted!!

UPDATED: today I received an auto generated email from the seller and received a response from a real person after I replied to the initial email. They promised to take a look at why I received no response on FB messenger. Beside that the base slightly warped, I think the product offers a lot of value. I used it on gas stove so it still worked but just tend to wobble a bit when it boils. Upgraded to 4 stars from 3.They have included a customer care card for you to contact to provide feedback and get support in case it is needed. However, no one responded to the Facebook messages or email. Too bad... the base warped just after two uses; otherwise it’s a good buy. You get what you pay for though.
