This product was easy to install. Make sure you have enough room on both sides of the fitting as to not kink or damage the wire coming through it.

I noticed the plastic/nylon nut on the lower threads could be tighter in tolerance, for it has a tendency to strip while tightening the upper rubber seal on the mating weather side of surface. Overall, it seems to do the job as long as you pay attention as to how tight to you install the fitting. I am using silicone as a secondary waterproofing since I was not confident in how tight the rubber seal would be while ensuring not to overtighten the lower nut to properly seat and secure a proper seal. Please note, the above situation applied to the two smallest size fittings. The larger fittings may not have the same situation and may be just fine while ensuring a tight installation without stripping the lower nut.

Be aware Thea are great for non crucial home projects, but if it is an important application, I would get some better ones so that the water tight seals and lock nuts are better quality and don’t strip or squeeze out.

The width of the primary seal is too narrow, as a result the inside diameter is too large. The 1/2” connector should be perfect for a 16AWG 3 conductor outdoor appliance power cable at 9.5mm but the clamping force is weak for both anti-slip and waterproofing. The same cable fits into and is mechanically sound in the 3/8” connector.

Worked great for passing power, signal, and even fiber optic cables through the side of a NEMA 4X enclosure in an industrial environment. Haven't tried a full submerge test, but waterproofing seems to be pretty good.

I happy to have bought this cord glands,it makes my job a lot easier to assemble and harness the coax's in better support and locations. It does have a good built to it and looks like a good compression of the wedge nut compression. For the price,you can't go wrong.
