If I want the hard center of the brush to measure 3 inches (not including bristles) what size brush should I order?

Is this the round brush or the square one? The barrel looks like square shaped from the picture. Thanks.

I'm torn on what size brush to get. My hair is shoulder length, I'm thinking bigger 2.5" will dry my hair faster and less work than the 2" Thoughts?

Does this brush pull or catch hair? If the barrel isn't smooth I've had issues with the barrel pulling or breaking my hair in the past.
