I know, am i crazy? Not really.The book is almost a 1:1 presentation from the game however the fact that it gives some extra background info about the characters and it actually depicts stuff that the game never could this makes it into THE BEST adaptation of corpse party.This is what the anime should have been instead of those 4 awful episodes, if you still havent played the game then this manga is an awesome alternative but if you already beat the game i would still recommend you to get the manga since they Way is presented (and the extra info) makes the story feel like newBtw the manga gives info about some of the corpses and ID tags just like the game........ Im serious this is adaptation of the game.

Love, love LOVE Corpse Party, after playing an emulator for japanese when it came out I was hooked. If you're a fan of Corpse Party in game form, you will love this manga! The artist did a wonderful job of keeping the original horror story feel, the gore and the pitiable characters in true form. The dead and the ghosts and even Sachiko herself are all drawn as creepy as all hell. Even I could feel the eerie music playing. Definitely recommend!

If you're a fan of the games, you'll like this manga. For me personally, this did a fairly good job of reviving the tension and shock I felt while playing the game.

Totally worth rereading. It not as terrifying as I thought it could be but ,it's well written and suspenseful.

As a big fan of the videogames I am shocked at how bland and uninteresting the manga is. Sub-par artwork rife with clashing stylistic choices combine with a lackluster retelling of the game to give the reader a manga adaptation that is not even mediocre. I expected a lot more from Corpse Party.
