Great fit. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
I have already had one too many concussions. (One that had lasting effects on my memory.) So when it comes to helmets… What was I saying? Oh, when it comes to helmets, I don’t cut corners. 😁I researched various helmet technologies and settled on this one based on safety, fit, and form, in that order. I also wear a Leatt neck brace when I ride and the fit is good with this helmet. (Never had issues with previous helmets either, but I felt it worth mentioning.)I was unsure about buying online and getting a proper fit, but for me, it worked out perfectly. Make sure you read up on how helmet should fit and don’t hesitate to send it back if it isn’t perfect. If it doesn’t fit your head properly, it won’t do its job correctly.

Sweet Helmet
This helmet is awesome, but also what you'd expect from one of the best helmet makers in the world. Not to mention that this is one of their top tier hemets as well.Love the new design and appreciate the new safety technology. The only gripe I have, and its a very mild one, is I wish the helmet was more installation friendly for the Cardo Pro. I and my son both have the Cardo with the upgraded JBL ear speakers. The place where the speakers mount is great, but wish is was countersunk an 1/8th of an inch or better. My son has an Airoh and they seek to fit better in his helmet. When I slide my helmet on, my ears catch the speakers just enough to make it slightly uncomfortable. Also, as the description states the correct fit should be a bit snug for safety reasons. I measured my head and chose the size Shoei advised. Initially it was a bit tighter than expected. By the third riding trip it felt much better and comfortable, so I would suggest using Shoei's size chart to pick you size.

Awesome
This helmet is a work of art . I bought a TLD about 6 months ago and it’s no were near the quality of the Shoei . You are getting your money’s worth with this helmet . I have had VFX in the past and shouldn’t have strayed . Simply one of the best motocross helmets money can buy

not sure about this yet
front heavy, pulls down on your neck, cheek pads WAY too tight. your cheeks should press iin a little but these actually press so much you cant close your mouth without biting your cheeks. Had i been able to actually try this on in a store i never would have wasted $700 on it. but with covid you cant try them on anymore so im stuck with a front heavy helmet that actually hurts your neck after about 20 mins of riding... KEEP LOOKING DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

Expensive investment that wont last.
Have owned two Shoei helmets. Originally had a HJC but wanted to invest a higher end helmet. In both cases the liners rotted out (turned to dust) with replacement liners no longer available so they become a very expensive paperweight. I stored them in climate controlled environment when not in use. The HJC I had originally is still intact and not degraded so I am using that now. Costly mistake.
