Very good for this price.
I've read reviews complaining about the size of the spikes. I wanted to clarify that their size is regulated by a regular key, as it should be. If you have a lot of dirt, use 100% if it's a regular road, use 10% as I did.

Works great
These are great, inexpensive pedals. Grippy pins, big platform, no issues.

First time upgrading pedals = immediate improvement! UPDATE: one year later..
UPDATE: One year later and it has held up well. I have since upgraded to flat pedal shoes to go with these pedals and it's a game-changer. I have progressed from being a beginner to riding aggressive trails and jumps (8-16ft tables and gaps), and just rode a downhill bike park. I ride almost every week and covered 800+ miles of trails. The OneUp's are definitely designed better, have higher quality components, and better quality control, but these are impressive for the price. Now that I know I am a serious MTB'er I will invest in a name brand next, but these have served their purpose well. I have a second pair on an old backup, cross country bike. I believe they will be fine for light riding.CONCLUSION: great, low cost pedal to try out. know the risks of buying an off brand at this price point. check the quality carefully, install it properly, and hope for the best but don't expect it to perform like pedals that are 2-5x the cost. aggressive/advanced riders should not take the risk, otherwise, go for it!//Experience: Two months of MTB trails on hardtail and full suspension.Other products used: none, just factory pedals.Initial impression: feels solidly built. immediate and noticeable improvement in pedal feel riding around block. feet feel much more comfortable (size 10 US). haven't ridden trails yet.Concerns: pins feels sharp and will inevitably gouge legs someday (file them down?). wider platform may hit obstacles easier. both of these are necessary trade-offs I suppose.Final verdict: at a very affordable price, this is a great upgrade for beginners. would consider upgrading all our non-trail bikes with these if I can smooth out the sharp pins.

Perhaps the best composite flat pedal out there - bar the OneUp equivalent it copies from
I have tried many composite flat pedals: the "classic" Raceface Chesters, the more boxy Rockbross version, the Crankbrothers Stamp 1 etc.Out of all the above, this is the best by a good margin. Wider platforms than the Chesters, which is handy even for a #9 shoe like mine, pins around the center of the platform and not just around the edges, and an overall "flat" platform design: i.e. the weakest design choice with the Stamp 1s, is that the axle sleeve in the center is "taller" than the edges of the platform, i.e. your shoe is not allowed to properly purchase pins around the center and both edges of the platform equally with them. Not with these Rockbros! The pins all "live" on the same plane and so is the composite platform itself. You often get "too much" grip with those and it is hard to re-position the shoe on them if your foot comes off as it is nearly impossible to slide/pivot it around, but in my opinion, this beats the alternative any day on a flat pedal. If you can spare the $, sure, honor OneUp components for designing this pedal originally, but the Rockbros version is definitely "borrowing" all of the right design elements for delivering an excellent flat pedal that beats all the alternatives I have tried - not just for the price.

Relatively Cheap Pedals for MTB
I was looking for some MTB pedals that were a bit bigger platform than the Imrider pedals ($21) that I purchased for my road bike and these fit the bill. I liked this form factor a bit better than the rectangular, cheaper options that you can find on Amazon - I have bigger feet (size 14 shoes, usually wide) and so a bigger pedal platform means I can hit drops and tabletops and not worry about my footing nearly as much as I did on my stock plastic platforms that came with my bike. That being said, after one rough ride the pedals were visibly scuffed up on the edges, but that's to be expected of plastic (polyamide?) pedals. MTB is not gentle to pedals, especially if you run through several rock gardens and are riding over rooty trails.I would probably buy this pedal again because I haven't seen anyone else selling this form factor pedal at this price, but I'd definitely look again before purchasing these immediately since they're about double what I paid for the Imrider pedals I use on my road bike.

Great pedal for the price if you have bigger feet.
Great pedal for the price if you have bigger feet. High quality. Taking a star off as these as they are copies of one-up components pedals.
