Blown away by how informative the book is, so many versatile and adaptable recipes that look so bloody delicious also!! As a fan of Finch Bakery, it was so exciting to see them involving their own equipment within the tutorials whilst still ensuring readers it’s possible without the finch bakery nozzles, scrapers etc. Most definitely the best recipe book I have ever purchased due to on the whole how easy the recipes are to follow with the detailed instructions, super useful tips and tricks, variation in the recipes like the NINE different buttercream recipe section!!!!! Also things like the heavily detailed conversion tango at the back of the book allows people globally to use this book effectively! I can’t fault the book and am looking forward to taking some inspiration and trying new recipes and techniques within my small cake business!!! Followed the recipe for the chocolate fudge cake and it turned out brilliant! My cake was truly a fudge cake and stayed moist for quite a few days until we finally finished it!Will be trying more recipes soon!

I ordered this book back in March 2021 and I was so excited when it arrived! It has been one of the few god things about this year! The book is so pretty and beautifully presented, the photography is amazing and makes you want to lick the pages! The instructions are set out clearly and the basics section and the top tips throughout are really useful too. My boyfriend and I have made the scones and cinnamon buns so far and both have been very successful and more importantly delicious! Even he loves the book and we have spent many hours looking through it again and again, deciding what to do next- which ultimately is difficult as there are so many to choose from! I can't wait to make other recipes (including the caramel brownies which are one of my favourites!) as well as mastering the celebration cakes! I've been following Finch Bakery for a long time on social media, they create amazing cupcakes and desserts, and they are hilarious and so down to earth, and I want to congratulate their success as it is well deserved! I can't wait to see what you do next! :)

I only started to bake in the first lockdown. I love it but still trying to develop my skills to have a more professional looking finish. I purchased this book alongside another baking book that was released the same day to try and aid this progression, both books are fab. I prefer this one though.I find it has more detail on perfecting techniques rather than just giving you a cake recipe to follow. It has step to step guides on every aspect of baking and no detail has been overlooked. I can't wait to work my way through and develop my baking skills using my new baking bible. It is well illustrated and easy to read too.Within two minutes of reading, I realised why my cakes look like sand castles (I never turn the top layer around) so can't wait to follow the advice here and see the difference it makes to my bakes. Thank you for producing such a helpful book.🍰

I have followed the Finch B twins on Instagram for years (they are absolutely hilarious!) and even though I live hundreds of miles away, I visited the bakery once and I was blown away by how delicious the bakes were.When I heard they were coming out with a book I was so excited. The book is stunning and you can tell so much thought has been put into every aspect of it. The photos are beautiful and the recipes so easy to follow. There is also a great variety of recipes from cookies, brownies, blondies, celebration cakes, cheesecakes, cupcakes, Finch B’s famous cake jars and more! I also love how with the cupcakes/cake jars there are multiple flavour recipes, just like there is in the shop.I am so excited to get baking with this and Lauren and Rachel should be so proud of this brilliant first book.

Given a one star as having tried a 'chewy' chocolate cookie recipe twice I was disappointed in the outcome. With all bakes done by different people there is a variation of outcomes depending on many factors but allowing for this I found the cookies not chewy and far too sweet to consume. I use Nigella Lawsons recipe tried and tested over many years for chocolate chip cookies and thought I would try a different recipe the allure of 'chewy' in the description being enticing. Everything up to the point of baking was as described and the bake went without incidence but the taste and texture were not there for us. Comparing with other recipes the sugar levels were high. Perhaps the type of brown sugar (Demerara, soft brown caster etc) made a difference but was not mentioned in the recipe. I have given four stars as I haven't tried any other recipe from this book and they may well be better. On the positive side, it is an informative book on certain techniques such as covering a cake in buttercream to achieve different coloring effects.

I’ve followed finch bakery on Instagram for a few years now and I’m such a big fan of their delicious bakes. I’ve tried recreating their brownies/blondies but never been able to find a good recipe … until their fabulous new recipe book!!! The instructions are easy to follow and the final product tastes delish! I love how the book has been put together with tips and tricks etc, it’s perfect for up and coming bakers, hobby bakers and professional bakers! The pics are cute and the colourful prints etc make the book look aesthetically pleasing on the shelf hehe. I just love the whole book! Can’t wait to try and make every recipe!

After following Finch Bakery for years on Instagram and waiting 6 months longer than folks in the UK to get this book, I finally received it and I love it! Everything I’ve made is delicious and I hope to make every recipe in the book! :-)
