So i must admit i was skeptical. I've got a pretty good beard going (3-4 inches) and VERY thick. I'd been using my normal shampoo and then conditioning my beard with each shower. I didn't think it would make much difference but with my beard getting longer I started looking into how to keep it looking good and everything said i needed beard specific shampoo. so i bought this stuff. It really does make a difference. My beard is noticeably softer, it lays more flat, and just feels better. you get an awesome lather out of it and it smells great. i would highly recommend. so i've converted to this and won't go back. although it is odd that i am beginning to have more products for my beard than the top of my head....

First of all, I paid the full asking amount for this product so this will be my honest opinion. I really like the smell of this beard wash, the peppermint isn't too strong, nor too weak. Some people say it doesn't sud up well, but for me, it suds up just like any other shampoo. After a thorough drying with a towel, it left my beard feeling very soft and clean. The peppermint scent lasts a long time after. I let the wash sit in my beard for a minute or two before washing it out. I feel this has played a big role in the affectiveness of the product as well. Overall, fantastic product I would recommend to any man who cares about their beard. Thanks!

After using this product, I don't find it any different from using the right hair shampoo. Yes, according to the "beard" experts using regular shampoo is supposed to strip out natural oils and if you color your beard (I don't), well you will be doing so frequently (according to the experts). I don't like the smell, but it does lather up well so if you are concerned with beard color and oils being stripped this might be for you. As for me, once you find the right hair shampoo you'll be fine and don't have to buy so many extra products.

I really am enjoying this product. My beard started looking healthier right away. The tea tree smell is great and isnt overwhelming like I have experienced before with different products.My only complaint is just with the shipping process. My lid had came loss in the process and some of the liquid leaked out. There was no seal on the inside. So I lost a little bit of liquid and the label was smeared some. The only plus to this is when I opened my package I could smell the refreshing tea tree odor.

The product worked well at the beginning, but i noticed that the viscosity was very light. It didn't feel like it had any thickening agent that you would normal expect from a shampoo. I shrugged it off as being more natural. I few months after occasional use I noticed that mold began to grow inside the closed bottle. I obviously stopped using it once i noticed. Bathrooms are undoubtedly going to be humid a lot, so i would have thought the material would be resistant to this kind of fungal growth or bacterial growth. So the take away is use it quickly otherwise it will expire on you like mine did.

I've tried several other brands of beard wash and conditioner. Everything from bars to liquids you name it. I've used this one for a week and the mint smell wakes me up in the morning and refreshes my face. This leaves my beard soft and straight right out of the shower. It's great because it is a shampoo and conditioner in one bottle, it smells nice but not overpowering, and it is all natural essential oils. While I was skeptical that it didn't contain argon oil, the jojoba oil in it has helped me not miss a beat. Love it!

Does a good job of cleaning my beard. I don't have a problem with my beard drying out because I immediately put some beard balm in it after I shower. My favorite thing about this wash is the smell. It smells really good, but my beard doesn't reek of the smell after washing. My fiance loves it if that helps your decision.
