I've purchased 3 pointe shoe sewing kits at this point and the needles included in this kit are by far the best.The thread is a thicker waxy thread and even though it doesn't really match the shoes, the way we sew shoes, you really can't see from the outside of the shoe. I go back and forth between the thread and the one that came in another kit that is softer and a better color match. This one I think is easier to sew with and more secure.

The kit is a great idea and handy but the color of the thread doesn’t match the intended purpose. The thread is a salmon color and definitely NOT the color of pointe shoes. I would not purchase again.

This is our go to pointe shoe thread. The color is good for matching shoes. The thread is sturdy! Very strong stuff. It stays tied well for me when I sew ribbons and elastics with it. It comes with two needles, they work well enough with the thread. The last package the needles were bigger than previously and that made them a little harder to use. Overall it is a great product I will order again and again.
