These ceramic beads work well. I have baked several crusts with them. The only disappointment I have is that the container is a bit too small for the quantity of beads. I have to shake it down to get all the beads in the box, and they still are above the top. I may store them in another container, which would solve this problem. I would buy these again.

used them before and they work but had to be real careful about removing them from the baked crust so I bought parchment for air-fryer to lift them out this time.These are smaller weights but more for the price . . .smaller is better for pie weights . . . these will replace the old ones as soon as Christmas is over . . . I will need 3 more.The container: Wheat . . . very good, hard to break . . . would have to really slam it on something hard, like concrete while full of the beads to break it! I have wheat bowls that are better than Corelle in my humble opinion.The beads: used for Christmas pie shells and poured all 2.2 lbs into a parchment lined 10 inch deep dish dish shell and they worked great and cleaned up great with soap and water, still WHITE. Buying 3 more because I usually bake 4 at a time for Holidays but hand was injured night before Thanksgiving so a little to crippled up; had to have a friend make my pie crusts for me. Got it on a whim to make pies during the holidays. It worked great for two pies total. Just be careful with the balls, they spread easily. Also, the case is difficult to close after the first use. Other than that, it worked great.

I haven't tried out my baking beads yet but they seem to be good quality and should work fine. The container is pretty, but should be bigger, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Before washing they barely fit, but after washing, as others reviewers have noted, it was quite difficult to get them to fit and close the lid, which will probably lead to the container breaking or cracking. Another inch on top would be nice.

These are the perfect size. I love that they come in a storage box. Very easy to use and store and they do their job as far as I can tell.

The container is too small. It barely holds all the beads, which fall out when you take the cover off.The beads are fine.

Love the storage box color. Makes it pretty to gift someone who bakes pies.
