First, let me start by saying I come from a family of traditional mate drinkers so I certainly have some experience in this field. Second, this kit is a great way to start getting into drinking mate. The mate is cute and just the right size. I bought the matching thermos too! I like that the bombilla matches with the cup though I find it to be a little small (I have another bombilla that I like to use and that one is a little bit bigger). The yerba is good. Just the smell alone will wake you up lol. I definitely recommend this kit!

I am a big fan of Yerba Mate, but I have never tried a Yerba as smooth and delicious as Kalmateh! This starter ser is amazing for anyone wanting to try some delicious mates. The petite mate gourd is the perfect size and so cute ! I highly recommend Kalmateh’s products.
