AntKits Bonded Nylon Sewing Thread, Curved Needles, Scissors and Thimble Tools Kits (Black)

I was shopping for a new spool of thread for my wig making. I previously used cotton thread, but was interested in converting to nylon. This set exceeded my expectations.The thread is sturdy, yet fine. It doesnt unravel when cut with sharp shears, which makes is a breeze to thread needles.The set comes with several needles, two of which I immediately put to use (the two curved mattress needles). The needs are also sturdy (I've broken needles before. These can withstand quite a bit of pressure).The thread is my favorite part of this set, but the scissors are a close 2nd. These nifty little scissors are super sharp straight from the package. TIP: Use the very top of the scissors to cut fine things like thread or lace. The heel of the scissor has a gap for cutting thicker material, so thin things will just bend and not cut.I haven't used the thimble, but I plan to use it when I see.

The scissors cutting tool that came with the kit looked rusty or used. I’ll probably just use a regular scissor when cutting the thread. Everything else was packaged and good. Like the fact that all these different size needles came in the pack because it makes it easier to get in between the tougher sections. I’m excited to start revamping my units.

I think this is a pretty good product. Plenty of great sewing needles for different applications, fabrics and leathers. Good price.

We bought black and used this to strengthen a folding patio/camping chair by the seams. Easy to work with and will not break (my husband tried). Be assured this will hold up outside or inside. We live in AZ and it holds up in the hot sun.

I make wigs, and I love the nylon thread way more than regular cotton thread. It’s easier to thread through your needles; and I feel like it’s more durable than cotton thread. It also lasts me a long time. I like that it came with the thread cutter as well as a few needles.

Bought this set to help me sew button eyes on my Amigurumi. It works great and will probably be a lifetime supply of thread for me. The thread is heavier than the kind you get on a normal spool so it works great for my amigurumi. Wish the spool had a place to secure the end of the thread so that t wouldn't unravel but it's not too big a deal.

The scissors are my favorite part! I purchased this to make my first lace front wig. I have to say the thread is easily manageable and hardly knots. Also comes with a curved needle which I saw was the most suggested through all the Youtube tutorials I've been watching. Great product.

Love, love this group of items. Worked flawlessly for my project, arrived quickly, love the snippers. They are so handy and sharp (be careful) they cut quickly. I am thinking of buying a whole new set as a backup. Great price for what you receive.
