These are superb. I was lucky enough to try these when we last visited Gower and was delighted to see that I could order them straight to my door! I really hope that you add some of the other flavours from your Wilfred's range in the future too.... particularly the vegan pies... hint hint!!!! These 'Saucy Cows' were packed to the rafters with tender steak and a lovely rich gravy. They arrived in a box within a box for protection and were snuggly packed in with chilling packs within an insulated box. They were also accompanied with instructions for cooking and storage and a little note from Wilf himself which was a lovely touch. I'm really happy to be able to support a local business though Amazon. I was worried about buying food online and didn't think they'd survive the post but they arrived chilled and in perfect condition. Cant wait to have them for dinner again this evening.

YES! Wilf's pies are on Amazon! I originally found these on QVC and loved the pies. I am thrilled to see them on Amazon which means I can order them at any time.The pies are large with a generous and delicious filling. The steak inside the pie is beautifully cooked, melts in the mouth and is surrounded by a rich, thick gravy. The pastry cooks lovely and crispy.The pies are packed well and arrive in perfect condititon packed with ice packs to keep them fresh. I loved that it came by a courier which I can track the location. I have popped the 4 remaining pies in the freezer and can't wait to tuck into them soon!Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed

Having been brought up in the Gower, the chance to try some local pies couldn't be denied - but the resultant delivery of pies with very little taste in the beef and ale and not very impressive pastry fell far short of my expectations. I will not be wasting any more money when I can achieve better tasting pies in my own oven with a filling based on braising steak from my local Scottish butcher, cooked for hours in my domestic slow cooker. The adverts were full of promise - but the reality fell far short of the promise

Nice looking pie , well filled with a fair few chunks of beef . Pastry very good with a lovely crusty top . Filling itself unfortunately is tasteless , it’s lacking any form taste let alone Beef and Ale .Real shame as been looking forward to this pie .

This was a gift for my parents, they told me they really enjoyed the pies.

Disappointed with taste of filling.Pastry ok. Won’t be ordering again 🙁
