Everything smells good. I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He’s growing out his beard and as a way to help him I got it for him. Everything in the ingredients is very simple. It’s not a long list of ingredients.

This beard set is an excellent gift for that special man in your life. I purchased my husband a different beard set from this brand about a year ago and he loved it so much; however, he wanted one specifically for beard growth. He’s only been using this product for a few weeks and the bald spots in his beard have begun to start growing hair. The smell of the balm is good and leaves his beard feeling soft and light so it’s great for someone with a rougher beard.

I purchased this beard care and growth kit for my partner. The 2in1 shampoo and conditioner works nicely. But it seems to have a sent reminiscent of bubblegum which isn't a turn off, just a bit different. Don't worry it smells nice, just sweeter than you expect. The beard oil is my favorite. It smells nice and piney yet not too strong like some beard oils can do. It also comes with two different scented beard balms. They glide through your hands and melt into your beard nicely and do not leave an oily residue. Unfortunately the sandalwood scent looked previously used and smells like a diaper rash cream or ointment. The cedar scent balm and the beard oil I would definitely reccomend.

I'm a huge fan of this brand, this would make a fantastic gift. It smells soooo good, and it's also natural and good for you.Almost every ingredient in here is organic, and no chemicals, toxins, artificial colors or scents. I love the transparency and integrity of the ingredients.Plus, they're great for your skin. A lot of other brands will include natural ingredients, but with fillers like soybean oil that aren't great for your skin. But everything in the Monster & Son formula is there because it's good for your hair.*(By the way, make sure to read through the ingredients and check for allergies, such as tobacco - there's no nicotine in here, but some people have reactions).As for the oil and balm, not only do they moisturize, they smell so great, and can completely replace cologne.The traditional scent is spicy, a bit reminiscent of old spice, but more upscale, and no vanilla. The tobacco gives it a complexity.The cedarwood is muskier and woodsy. The cedar provides a solid base note, but the lemongrass lifts it a bit, gives it a bit of sweetness, prevents it from being too heavy.The ssandalwood is the sweetest of the 3 scents, a bit reminiscent of Oscar de la Renta's Mens Cologne, Pour Lui.These are great for beard or any skin really, Even if you just wear a stubble I recommend this to keep your hair and skin healthy. Also great for your neck or any part you shave, pre- or post-shave. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I went into this review expecting something nice, like the MANY kits like this I've reviewed in the past... I got what has easily been my favorite kit!!! The scents are PERFECT...A little old timey classic with a modern cologne bite. For the price point, you will be happy with this!OIL: I'll start with my favorite of the kit. It is more like serum, a little thick like syrup but slick like a fine silk! Zero oily feel and more like a silk sheet. Goes on with a satin sheen and almost instantly absorbs/blends to a matched silk feel on you beard. The scent is clean like sweet soap but has a background of a woodsy, floral cologne. Not overpowering at all, just enough to leave you searching for more.SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER: Nice 2-in-1 formula that is organic. Goes on sudsy with a good lather, washes out leaving you clean and refreshed. Very clean but manly scent, again, subtle leaving you searching for more scent (in a good way).BEARD BALM: Both are excellent. Perfect balance of waxy but not too much and blend great! SANDALWOOD smells excellent, reminds me of Nag Champa incense, spicey with a woodsy char. I love it. CEDARWOOD smells more on the sweet side with that old timey cedar chest musk another excellent scent.This company nailed it with their fragrance and blends! On my radar now, I will be getting more asap!

I ordered this because I’m stepping away from big-box store products and moving to more boutique brands. I like those products better and want to support smaller businesses.This is a nice kit.You get plenty of product, a ton of wash and more then enough oil to last you.But here’s the issue.I like the wash and one of the balms, the others are way too perfumed for me.So basically I like 50% of this kit and that’s it. So it’s tough for a gift. Unless you know the scents the person likes when you buy a mixed box like this it’s very risky.Overall there is plenty of products so the value is there for sure.

Great set!All items are very effective. The wash gets my beard thoroughly clean and still feels moisturized, easier to brush through and more manageable. The oil makes it look healthy and great.The balms smell fine, not as good as the wash and oil but have a baby powder type scent. The wash and oil have a fresh, clean scent. The oil smells a little more like a cologne. I really like the scent of the wash and cologne.I've tried several different brands of beard care but first time with this brand and it's easily a favorite now!

Here's the deal. I really, really wanted to like this. Loved the branding. Loved that it was all natural and hypo-allergenic. The oil was decent. Not a strong scent. The shampoo/conditioner was okay but dries out the skin. The balms are where you lost me. While the texture is fine (a bit more oily than my other balms) the scent is not good. I have other cedarwood and sandalwood scented items that actually smell like that. These do not. One of them is just baby powder/perfume scent. So strong, not recommended for men. And definitely not what the label would make you think it smells like. All in all, the products are ok...but not if you have scent preferences.

Product has a weird smell, not strong but jot very pleasant.

I didn't read the ingredients correctly, so my own fault, but I can't give this more than 1 star considering it contains both beeswax and honey. Too difficult to find a Vegan beard product.

I do like this set and the oil is really good however there really isn’t much smell to it. This is great for people who are sensitive to scents/fragrance however I do usually prefer fragrance in my beard products. But other then this they are great and I will be happy to continue using them.
