I brought this as a replacement cheese grater. As I am the only one who grate's the cheese in our house I eventually got fed up of the grater breaking every time it was used.So far I have only used this for grating mature cheddar cheese. I am known for being heavy handed so I have made sure that I am gentle. I lightly press down on the cheese as I turn the handle for the grater and hey presto It works a treat. Within minutes a kg of cheese is grated.For the set up I wipe the base of the unit with a damp cloth along with the glass chopping board then turn the suction handle. The suction is fantastic and when using the grater it does not move. We use smooth glass chopping boards as our worktops are textured so suction is not possible.Then with cleaning I simply use washing up liquid and a washing up brush, within two minutes and very little effort it's clean. Although it says dishwasher safe I'm not prepared to put it in to find out how safe it is.So the bad bit, well so far the only negative bit is that when grating the cheese tends to get stuck inside the drum after 4 or so revolutions. This is easily solved by simply either using my finger or a tea spoon to gently remove the cheese from the drum.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase I have used it 4 times now and grating cheese is no longer something I dread.......Pictures to follow.

Grateing cheese has always been a job I can't stand to do, I bought this hoping it would make it easier, it has exceeded my expectations, I literally grated a whole block of cheese in about 20 seconds! And its oddly satisfying to do too! I wish I'd found this earlier. There are a few brands like this one but after carefully comparing reviews and features of them all this one seemed to be the best, very happy with it. Thankyou!

The cheese grater is quick to grate cheese, bread and carrots. It is quite difficult to grate cabbage but it can perform the task. It saves you from cutting your fingers which a conventional grater may do!It is easy to assemble but the suction does come unstuck when you are grating. I think you need a very smooth surface. We have a wooden worktop and plastic table which may not work as well as a granite surface for example.It saves time on the whole. The parts can go in the dishwasher which is useful. Relatively easy to hand wash.

I got this to make my life easier and it absolutely has. It keeps my fingers safe. It's easy to put together and when you make it stick to the kitchen side, it really does stick. Finally, it grates and slices really well! The only thing it has had trouble with so far is mature cheddar, which is hard to grate with a normal grater too.

Large sized unit; wasy to setup, clip connect, and slide button disconnect. With suction lock to work surface it's easy to get the products grated/sliced. Smart tool to quickly process the task. As said "Tonka toy" robustness.

I ordered the Mandoline cheese grater because my arthritic fingers were making it progressively more difficult to grate cheese for my welsh rarebit. I have not used the slicers ,but am reveling in the ease of using the grater. The unit is fixed to the work surface with the turn of a sturdy switch on the side. Admittedly this needs some welly, but once attached the suction is something else. Immovable.On first turning the handle and using the pusher it seemed as if nothing had happened - until I noticed the bowl full of perfectly grated cheese. With just the grater, a pusher and the main body cleaning is simple. Highly recommended.

This does exactly what I wanted it for. Much easier to use than an ordinary grater. I have painful hands so it’s more or less perfect.

It says don't use it on onions but I do anyway because I don't like being told what not to do.Love this gadget, speeds up some boring bits of cooking.
