Hats in the BelfryBelfry Mickey Irish Green Derby Hat with Feather and Liner

Quality: This is a nice, well built hat.Size: Using the sizing chart 7 1/2 was XL but it was too big. The L fit fine and a little snug.Shipping: After reading the previous horror stories about shipping I was hesitant to buy this. The XL arrived in a properly sized box. When the L arrived I could tell the box was too small. Luckily it wasn’t crushed but it did cause a small blemish and imperfection on the very top of the hat. Picking a correctly sized box is not difficult. Does someone at Amazon really need to oversee quality control over box sizing????

Personally I love the hat and want to wear it all the time but people ( wife ) insists it’s only for St Patrick’s Day . She insists it’s not practical for everyday wear ... I disagree.

I usually buy all my bowler hats in size 7 3/8 (large). But these ones don't fit my head perfectly as the others do. They are a little bigger than the standard sizes. I don't know if buying a size smaller would work either. I fixed mine by adding some weathering tape on the inside. Now it's a perfect fit.

The hat looks nice but was hoping for something a little more softer and pliable. The hat was real tight at first but I maneuvered it a bit like a cowboy hat and it loosened up a little. I have a long head and not a bowling ball round head so it needed to e adjusted to fit. All in all I like it but it was a little expensive for what is is really worth.

It's a beautiful hat. Perfect for an Irishman on the town. Classy, not cartoonish. So if you're not trying to be super corny, it's a good looking hat. Once I got it I thought of other possibilities besides St Patricks day. It's a good looking hat for a Riddler costume.No complaints, will buy from Belfry again.

Good quality hat! It will go perfect with my husbands leprechaun outfit! He said it is well worth the money as it doesn't look "cheesy" it looks and feels like a good quality Derby for $50.

Better quality than I expected. I'm a little pretentious and don't like cheap holiday stuff. It wears well during St Patrick's Day parade.
