My drinks of choice are Manhattans and Old Fashions. I wanted a good, firm, heavy glass with a unique design and these glasses hit the mark. The top opening is square, but not rigidly so. There is some slight curvature to each side. The bottom inside narrows to a basic square, but be advised if you use a 2 1/2 inch sphere ice cube, you will need to go to a 2 inch. These are firm glasses and being politically incorrect I will call them a man's glass. They are solid, feel good, and look great. Yes, they are expensive but uniquely worth it. The photos are slightly deceptive because they may indicate a slight amount of color. These glasses are crystal clear - no coloring. Your contents will provide all the color you need. If you want a good solid cocktail glass that you won't find anywhere else, these are for you.

This item was packed beautifully! It made an excellent gift presentation! The glasses themselves are much heavier and thicker than I expected and of course that’s a great thing! The design in person is not as cool as in the photos since lighting is what makes the shapes of this glass stand out. However, he has used them several times the last few months over other glasses we have so I know these were a winner!UpdateAfter several month it still looks brand new. We tend to reach for this glass for everything! It’s our favorite for all beverages because it is thick and smooth. We love it!

These are definitely unique and giftable glasses. They look good and you’ll want to keep a pair (at least) for yourself. There’s only 1 change I’d like to see in a separate offering. I’d like to see a version where the bottom portion of the glass was frosted.These glasses are nice and thick. They fit in the hand nice... and they look good / high quality. I do not use ice ball trays anymore, but some of the larger sizes of ice ball would not fit in this glass. I would stick to smaller cube sizes.Gift yourself a set of these! You’ll be glad you did.

Glasses are fine, but are not as nice in person as they are in pictures and definitely not high end looking. Too big for whiskey in my opinion. Great for cocktails and small smoothies.

I ordered these glasses for a friends 50th birthday, along with a book all about whiskey and scotch and a nice bottle. I was disappointed when I open the box (which is very nice) to find one of the glasses had a small chip. Inside the box lid was a message from Adam, founder of Ashcroft, that thanked me for my purchase and included his e-mail contact information in the event that I was not fully satisfied. I e-mailed him straight away (6:30 on Friday night) to let him know about the chip and that I would be returning the glasses through amazon. Within two hours, Adam responded, apologizing for the glass being damaged, and told me not to bother returning them, he would send out a new set ASAP, free of charge.I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I had the replacement set by Tuesday, free of charge, and did not have to go through the bother of returning the others. Thanks Adam! You rock!Aside from the great service, the glasses themselves are very nice. They are a nice weight, and look great too! I may have to order more to have in my own bar :)

To start with the package was clean and represented another level of glass. Once opened i noticed the glasses came in individual pockets that were lined with a padding to protect them during delivery. I actually like the packaging so much i keep my glasses in them when not in use. The glass itself is very nice and sophisticated, but has an edge to it as well. It has a good weight to it and easy to grip. It looks like a rather large glass at first but once you fill it with your favorite drink you realize it is a perfect size.

If these glasses weren't a birthday gift and I had more time, I would highly consider returning them for a different set. They are good quality, heavy and quite sturdy, but they are super cheesy in person. I was hoping they would look more refined, but they are clunky and the iceberg-aesthetic does not translate well.

My Favorite Glass for My favorite Drink!!! Perfect. Add to glass 2 oz. Favorite Whiskey... try many different kinds - Rye, Scotch, Bourbon. Some of my favorites Monkey Shoulder, Redemption Rye, Bulleit Rye, Buffalo Trace, Baker's, Four Roses, Eagle Rare. Don't be shy even try some of that Booker's, Old Scout Smooth Ambler, Stagg Jr., Knob Creek. I know I am losing some of ya here but even try some of those single barrel bottles you swore you would only sip. O.K.here is the rest of the mix 1/2 jigger lime juice and 1/2 jigger simple syurp m ix in glass - pack in ice almost to the top - top off glass with Ginger Beer - jiggle glass to stir - Happy Times to All. This glass holds just the right amount and looks fantastic doing it.
