Nice
Nice ligature, and nice looking cap, but the cap does not fit my Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, which is strange because the Yamaha 4C is a classic and it is a standard mouthpiece. Possibly, the cap is made only for Rico's mouthpieces. In this case, they should say it in the advertisement. I could have saved a few dollars buying only the ligature.

Slippery, awkward to handle, and weak
This was the cheap option and it works like one. I needed a cheap ligature fast and I got a cheap ligature, although I didn't get it fast. It slides up the mouthpiece with the slightest pressure, including its own, so you'll be redoing it several times each practice or performance. Handy for those who like to switch reeds I guess. Not a long term solution.

Effective and Inexpensive
I'm not a huge fan of two-screw ligatures, but this one works, is low priced, and has the same great cap as the Rico H-Ligature. The cap grips the mouthpiece securely while in place and completely protects the reed, but it is ribbed and made of pliable material that slides easily on and off the mouthpiece when you want it to. The Rico ligature is not as convenient as some, and I debated rating it only four (4) stars. But the price is right and the Rico ligature is convenient enough once you use it a bit.

It's not a universal ligature that will fit all clarinet mouth peices.
If you don't have a mouth peice designed (to fit) for this type of ligature, it will slip off. You have to tighten the screws on the ligature way too tight for it to stay on the mouth peice, and you shouldn't have to do this.

Gets it turned around to the screws don’t touch her mouth
My daughter doesn’t like the screws touching her lip. This allows the ligature to be turned around and the band director not “call her out” for having it turned incorrectly. Plus the mouth piece cover is proof that ithe ligature does go that way since the mouthpiece cover only goes on one way.

Worth it..
Holds Reed firmly. Looks good. No noticeable change in tone to my semi - trained ear...

Oval-shaped, not round
Appears to be a very fine ligature, however, it is not round to match my mouthpiece. It is oval shaped so I was not able to use it.

Does not fit standard rico mouthpiece
The ligature does not fit a rico standard mouthpiece or any regular mouthpiece. I bought this thinking it would fit the rico mouthpiece I got, but it doesn't fit at all and if you try to fit it, it just comes off. Avoid this ligature.

No sirve realmente
