I've had a bad back for years and have always had problems walking upright after working at my desk for a couple of hours. The pain has been excruciating and have to take Tylenol frequently throughout the day. I recently injured my tailbone and thought I would try searching for something other than a pillow to use as extra cushioning on my desk chair. I stumbled upon this seat cushion and figured I'd give it a try, in particular because of the tailbone cutout. Wow! My back pain has been reduced significantly and many times eliminated altogether. It is very comfortable and lives up to its pain relief claims. The non-slip bottom works great and doesn't move when getting up or sitting down. It does add some height to your seat, so I recommend using this cushion with a height-adjustable office chair. Really nice product and very pleased.

I fell and hurt my tailbone months ago. Recently I started looking at tailbone cushions. I decided on this one after lots of research. I was impressed with the larger dimensions, and rubber non-slip bottom. My research also supported a top gel layer for better comfort.One thing stood out to me, after reading many reviews. This cushion's foam is on the firm side. That was the main deciding factor for my buying it. At first I wondered if a firmer foam would be more uncomfortable, but my later impression was, a soft foam compresses flat in short time, resulting in an overall harder surface.I can confirm, this cushion does not compress flat. I weigh 200 Lbs. It is very comfortable after hours of sitting , and after 3 weeks of use, my tailbone has fully healed.

Really like this as it helped relieve some of my sciatica pain. Being a plus size I only wish pillow could be a little bit thicker. My whole family likes it when sedentary using computer

Perfect for sciatica

For some months now I have had a pain running down the back of my leg that seems to be set off from a nerve in the middle of my right buttock. When I'm driving or sitting at my desk at home (I'm retired), I could only sit still for an hour or so before the pain came. I don't know if it was sciatica or not; I never went to the doctor for it. After about an hour or so of driving, even getting out of the car and stretching didn't seem to help, so we had to switch drivers. I decided to try a seat cushion to see if it would help. I reviewed a number of them searching for sciatica and decided on the UVI.I've now had the cushion for a month or so, and the results are remarkable. I no longer have the pain in the back of my leg. Well, I do have it a little, but nothing like before. So I was switching the cushion back and forth between the chair and the car, and decided that the improvement was so noteworthy that I bought a second one. Now I have one in my study in the chair and one in the car. When I have to use my wife's car, I move the cushion between cars.A couple of weeks ago I had a good test of the cushion. We took a trip where I needed to drive for 6 or 7 hours. I could do it without pain! Remarkable!I don't know; maybe some or most of the other cushions are just as good. I didn't want to take a chance. By the way, I don't know if it matters or not, but I'm about 170 lbs, so don't completely compress the cushion.It's a great invention! I obviously would buy it again as I already did!

I ordered this due to my lowerback pain. I've been working virtually for over a year and have been in sitting position for over 8 hrs a day. I developed lower back pain and anytime I would go from sitting to standing I would be slouched and stuck where I couldn't stand straight. Bending down was also painful. Stretching helped to straighten out, but as soon as I would sit and stand then I would return to that position of pain. I use this cushion on my office chair, car seat, on the bed for sitting and also while I sit on the floor for stretches. It reduced my pain!
