Not worth 15£
Film is ok, but definitely not worth 15£. Wait till they lower price if you can, there's MUCH better out there.

Not a bad film....
I only rented this because Denzel Washington was the main character and some other reviews said it was OK. Was it worth renting for £15 ? Well, if you compare how much two adults would have spent at the cinema, plus snacks of course, then yes it was worth it.I suppose I could have waited until it came out on Sky, but I didn't.

A good movie, worth it if you like detective dramas & don't have access to cinemas.
Denzel Washington is the lead in this & it is worth the rental for his part. This does start slow focusing on DW, but it's when the 3 actors combine that it works best. If you stick with it, the end is clever. I would have liked to buy it as I will watch it again. But I'm not going to hold the high rental cost against the movie. Would have liked more of Jared Leto's character, haven't seen many movies with Rami Malek who also has a interesting part.

It's the little things - they don't disappoint.
There so much humour in this film . . . . quite surprising really given the subject matter.Albert Spama is, by far, the most memorable character in the film - quite creepy while at the same time eliciting a pull on the heart strings as a sad, lonely man. Guilty or not - it's not my place to say. I want to know his back story though. The soundtrack mirrors Spama - cold and oddly unsettling.I'd happily watch this film again - at no point was I watching the clock and thinking "how much longer."

Terrible experience. Dont waste your money.
Naturally I was very excited because of Denzel Washington. Never have I been left so disappointed in a film, because the trailer was very good. The film however, was very slow to start, there were segments of the film that threatened to become interesting but came to an abrupt stop leaving me chasing the story line which was non existent and confusing. Not good, terrible ending, waste of money and I still don't know who the killer was. I'd give half a star if i could.

Decent film but not particularly gripping
Decent film with good acting showing the contrast between LA's underbelly and the dusty bleakness of central California. It was pretty slow though - the kind of film where you're fiddling with your phone as well and I don't think it's worth the £15 which is pretty steep. If you're going to release the film on TV then put it at TV prices.

Don’t bother
Love Denzel, so naturally watched his new one. Very flat and slow, weak story, terrible acting (Malik - he was good as Freddie Mercury but maybe because Freddie was peculiar; not good in this)
